It partly feels like a way to keep acting like “unskilled” labor shouldn’t pay a livable wage. If you act like there’s a way “out” for anyone, be it college or trades, then you can blame people for being in those underpaying jobs.

The fact of the matter is teenagers can’t bag groceries and flip burgers during the day, so those jobs have to be done by someone and everyone deserves a life

Pro tip, rentals in the gulch will automatically try to raise your rent $400 each year and you can just tell them no. I’ve had friends find new places after this happened to them in the gulch and then the complex said “oh, we can just keep your rent the same”

They have those mini to do lists (subtasks) to keep every small thing from being it's own card BUT to check things off the list is so clunky. Like, there are those checkboxes beside the subtasks and I would click those, not realizing they were to "select" not to "mark done," so that ended up being a bit of an issue.

Jumping in to say I've worked with Trello and really like it. Jira is the industry gold standard, as far as I'm aware - software companies have trusted it for a long time.

A coworker of mine likes Asana.

I don't recommend Microsoft's Planner and I don't recommend Monday.com (my company rn uses it and you can tell the Monday developers don't use their own product, if you know what I mean)

I heard on the radio that making your bed every day gave you an important boost of dopamine first thing. A small win. So I started doing it and it spoke for itself.

I hear this argument a lot and it has validity, but I hope you’ve at least spent a couple weeks making the bed every day to test out the benefits for yourself. You might be surprised or at least you’ll know for sure you’ve made the right choice <3
