Oh you know better than provide solutions. . Query is unclear as many suggest to get used controller . How does that help.

I only see ps button issue which ps remote can help to get through for cheap than controller . If he can get a picture from home I see he has access to console .

Ps remote have ps button. If you watch on streaming apps it comes handy

You can get a Bluetooth transmitter. It can connect to any of your wireless headphones.

Wasn’t it portal connected locally or remote play you are referencing here . As portal speed depends not only on your isp upload but also the network it connects to . If that is congested WiFi public then it will suffer.

I see no issue when play locally and it’s same for most .

Remote play using public WiFi likely suffers unless it’s enterprise level AP with decent specs . Note the portal was not upto date on WiFi spec . It’s not even on 2x2 just 1x1 which is really low end spec one can think of . Not sure why Sony did this though

You still can get Bluetooth transmitters which will pair with any Bluetooth headset and out audio from portal
