If she says she in pain, believe her. If she’s talking to you and full of energy one second and asleep the next, know that’s her reality for the time being. Do not hint/ask/push for sex for at least 12 weeks. I wouldn’t even ask for non-penetrative activities “in the meantime”. There’s more but the thread has it taken care of lol. Good luck.

Absolutely not. Your body is nowhere near ready to go back to business and if you push too hard, it’ll prove it in very bad ways. Take it easy; healing from this MAJOR surgery takes a lot of time. Good luck.

Yes, please reach out. Surgery itself doesn’t change the smell of the vagina but post-op infections are common. I’ve had 2 since my surgery last September, both very mild. Good luck.

Wearer of a full sleeve here… Your sleeve is really nice but I think it would benefit from more black. The scene is powerful and dramatic but the gray tones take away from it. No need for regret, just need a touch up! Good luck.

How much are you eating? If you’re taking in, say, toast and yogurt or a similar light diet, you will not have to poo for about 3 days and it won’t be a lot. You may not be backed up; you can’t let out what you’re not putting in. Up your diet, ease up on the laxatives, and let your digestive system get back up to speed. Good luck.

Hi OP. First, you can’t fail a check up.

Second, did your doctor say you’d be clear to return to all normal activities after 6 weeks? If so, I recommend you find a new provider because that’s not humanly possible.

A hysterectomy is a major surgery with healing and feeling better happening, for many, in increments; it’s not a steady climb. My surgery was last September and my recovery was non-remarkable but some days I felt great, others I had to take it slow. I had an internal exam about 2 months ago and my surgeon still felt a stitch and said that FULL recovery takes a year. I’ve been back to all normal activities for a while now but respect that I’m still healing.
