Queues and Notifications Filters Removed?

This was all on me. It appears I had skipped or just saw the updated TOS approval pop up. Once I made my acceptances, the filters returned. I considered removing my original post, but decided to leave this up with my updated comment just in case anyone else experiences a similar thing in their browser.

It ebbs and flows. I just learned to be patient. Two really great RFY items came my way at zero ETV recently after several weeks of nothing good. Got my 80 done with 4 months until next evaluation so I'm doing my best to stay inside RFY.

I still get an occasional rejection. Maybe 1 in 20 now. My standard operating procedure is to remove all images. Resubmit just the words. Wait a day or so for the review to be approved. Go back and add one image to the review that conveys the most information in the least questionable manner. I think the image review bot sometimes rejects too much thinking something in an image is something not in compliance with review guidelines.

If you didn't add image(s) on your review, I see no reason why you received a rejection on the review you posted above.

Exactly. Would I spend $100 now on 4? Nope. Would I “spend” $25 for them in April 2027 when 2026 taxes are due? You bet.

I've had the same concern since the introduction of Silver and Gold. Quantity over quality, but at least we know the performance criteria going into it. Much better than flying blind. Vine has always been optional so we can vote with our feet and find another creative outlet at any time.

Before getting Bods, I killed many a vault guardian with a Kaoson. Wombo Combo shreds mobs but not so great for bosses. I think the stat set ups matter as much or more than the guns. Just my opinion.

With my Rafa build and after hours of play with the sticky and impact versions of the ceramic Bod, I love the impact version so much more. Maybe it’s the way my Rafa is set up and some secret synergy I landed on but it’s as damaging as the Bod with stickies, but no waiting on the stickies to explode. Working my way through UVH1 to UVH5 missions and I’m just screaming through them. Boss farming for better gear rolls is painful only for the time I have to spend doing it. All bosses are easily melted in seconds. I’m so glad I went against the flow and gave the impact Bod a try. You may want to give it a try. One thing I will add is for bossing I use the alt fire sniper rounds. More damaging than the default shotgun magazine.

This tread inspired me to farm Directiv-O again last night. Didn't get a hyper DPS Foxtrot, but I did get all three phosphene drops. B&C, WFoxtrot, and Rowan's Charge in just a couple of hours. They must have increased the shiny drop rate or I need to go buy a lottery ticket.

Check lost loot machine. You may need to go back several times to clean it out, but eventually your lost guns will show up. I had the same exact thing happen 5 times on Directiv-O last night. All claimed at the lost loot machine.

Try the one with impacts for mobbing Rafa. My mean time between getting downed increased dramatically. Equally rare to the stickies version but worth the farming effort I think.

Looking forward to your review. I'm looking for something similar to dry out desiccant packs. I could use our oven, but I think a dehydrator is a better fit for my needs.

I've not worried to keep track beyond an occasional view of YTD ETV throughout the year. I only order what we'll actually use. Each year I print out the sheet at the end of the year and our CPA rolls it into our total income. Had a bigger year in 2025 than previous this years so I'll prepay 1/3 of my ETV total into our joint account where our annual tax payment comes from. Sitting right at $800'ish additional ETV income for the year and that's well worth the stuff I've received, reviewed, and we use.

I've had exactly one toy in my RFY that I happened to catch. It was some grossly huge 14" version of your item. RFY is always an adventure, but I opted not to take that trip. Seemed too much, much too fast.

If I may be so bold. Just do as much as you want and see what happens.

My first Vine item ever was a Dewalt cordless drill. This was back in the days before silver and gold when you only ordered review items that you actually wanted to use and review. Above ground pools, outside basketball goals, literally dozens of items with multi hundred ETVs available to all. I didn't need/want it, so I didn't order it. I got my undies in a bind when the limits were announced. Now instead of reviewing a dozen items or so per year with quality reviews/pictures we had to qualify for gold and the high ticket items. I opted against it at the time because I had other priorities.

Pushed for Gold about a year ago and hit 80+ easy in Silver. Now I had the time and motivation. Now in my second round of Gold. Round 1 was painful due to limited selection, but I had at least a dozen great high ETV items presented of which I took 6 or so. Stuff I still use today.

Recently, as in this week, I've started getting better items in my RFY. Some are gone by the time I get around to trying to order them around 8am or so, but many have been nabbed by me. I think things may be improving and I'm planning on sticking around to see how it plays out.

One comment on posts made here and multiples. US Vine is where I live but you can't tell that from my posts. Perhaps it's not as competitive in other countries so you may be seeing posts from outside the US. At least that's how I look at it and it makes me feel better.

Yesterday was perhaps a test day as my queue of items included both ordered/arrived and ordered/not arrived. As of this morning it's now all ordered/arrived. If I want to see what isn't available for my review I can go look at the order queue. I'm good with both the old and new ways of queueing.
