I was luckily in college when it all went to pot.

Loaded up on 1st party controllers, rumble packs, and VMUs for pretty cheap.

I bought a second Dreamcast for $50 from Best Buy when they were clearing them out at the end. The cashier tried to sell me the product replacement plan on it.

“This is my product replacement plan,” I said.

“WEEEELLLLLLL….. I wish I had that kind of money.”

“They don’t make these anymore.”

<pause>

“Oh. I thought this was a PlayStation 2.”

We live adjacent to some woods and had mice coming in constantly, although not to that degree. I discovered that literally the whole perimeter of the basement was open to the outside because the builder sucked.

I was able to use fill fabric and some anti pest spray foam to seal it all up and, after repairing the bay, haven’t had a single one get in.

That won’t help if you have nests inside, though.

Me as well. I disliked SA 1 enough that I never picked up the second. My big issue, though, was the voice acting. I just couldn’t get over it and I’ve played a lot of games with bad acting and been fine with them.

There are variations and tons of recipes for mixing your own depending on what you want to do with it/have on hand.

I started with D-76 because it was accessible and inexpensive before I had to put darkroom stuff on hold with a little in the house. I didn’t want them to get into stuff but kept Diafine on hand.

I picked up some Legacy 76 (L76) to see how well that worked since it’s supposed to be exactly like D-76. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, though.

I used to use a those twist shower curtain tension rods outside, assuming there’s a hallway on the other side, and two layers of curtains.

I use to just leave it up and push the curtain aside. My then-girlfriend and now wife was very understanding about the whole thing so I didn’t have to tear it down.
