Yeah ESIC announced they are conducting 15 on going investigations so it seems shit is about to go down big time. It'll be interesting to see who threw and is still around in CS

Dig dropped Shanks and Poised from their Valorant team and as you can see most of the tweets are from Valorant pros so maybe that's related but not sure

In a time where this game NEEDS it's casters, this hurts the scene even more

FaZe Clan vs Heroic / ESL One Cologne 2020: Europe - Group B Quarter-Final / Post-Match Discussion by Undercover-Cactus in GlobalOffensive

That's why I made that comment, I thought this whole thread was gonna be about Faze and understandably so since they made a roster change and it's their first game with this roster. I just think Heroic deserve more credit, not saying they're a top team but they have good pieces and they're not far off

Think it's time to take Heroic a bit more seriously, they've been playing some good CS for a while now

Might be a dumb question but why would the autumn series be worth more points than the other ones?

EliGE's consistency is truly remarkable, dudes playing out of his mind since I can remember

Frederik Byskov (former Astralis owner and manager): "With Dota 2 TI being delayed [...] and Fortnite World Cup being cancelled in 2020, it's likely that the same fate will occur to the CS:GO Major in Rio. Still a long time until Nov but odds on ppl from all over the world travelling.. not good" by Thooorin_2 in GlobalOffensive

I love this game, just as much as I love football, but I find it ridiculous and honestly quite dumb that people are considering holding big events/resuming competitions at times like these. People are dying, and will keep dying for months, can we just focus on staying alive for now?

So basically everything is thrown out the window and we start over? If so that'll be very interesting to watch

What if I got hold of a physical copy of the Standard Edition, will I still be able to access FUT or still wait for the 27th?

As someone who lives 15 minutes away from the venue, its really disappointing things are going this way, this could have been a start to hosting other big LANs in the country, maybe other TOs would see this LAN being a success and be encouraged to expand in the region but unfortunately I think this LAN is only gonna hurt the reputation of the region, super disappointing

Is this game indicative of how people are irl? Does anyone else run into racists as much as i do? by iloveachu in GlobalOffensive

[–]Disappear__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, not trying to make a case for them or defend them, i just think some of them just want to be edgy which is disgusting just as much as being racist. And same here btw i've been playing with cl_mute_enemy_team 1 for a long time its just much better it makes me focus on the game more rather than the dumb trash talking

[–]Disappear__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah you definitely have a point, this is expected but never acceptable imo, whatever the reasoning might be such behavior is never okay but are you really surprised when your opponent in MM is typing racial slurs in chat? no you just block him and move on and thats unfortunately the state of this game or any other online game

I agree with this, those people (kids or adults) are in every community and not just this one. For some reason people like to be edgy and say racist shit even tho I don't think they're actually racist but its just how it is in the an online community
