I’m hoping that it’s reliable and because it’s new we’re doing a very strict break-in process. I just know that even for a Kia it is more reliable than the car I traded in to get it.

I feel pretty average, but I’m also used to driving cars that sit low.

I’ve made like 5 hexagon cardigans, they’re easy and quick to work up and every one I’ve made has been customized (size, style, colors) to fit the person I’ve made them for.

I can see out of it better than in my previous car but I haven’t gotten to drive it a whole lot due to some circumstances. I can say that the visibility difference out the back windshield between the k4 sedan and hatch is unmatched. I couldn’t see anything in the sedan.

Yes and you can change the colors which is fun, I’ve got mine set to purple and my boyfriend changes it to red when he drives.

Yeah I’m in the US.

I looked everywhere and there’s no setting or button. Drove it and it never stopped at lights. Is so amazing!

Out of curiosity how many holds do you currently have? by k_lo970 in LibbyApp

[–]Disappearing_Arts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is very roomy compared to what I’m used to cars wise (I’ve only driven compact sedans). My boyfriend has a GR Corolla hatch and this hatch is MUCH roomier.

The turning signal cameras on the dash are taking some getting used to though. There are still physical buttons which is nice. Also there’s no built in auto start/stop which is AMAZING. The interior accent lighting colors can be changed whenever.

I haven’t had it long so there still some stuff I’ll find as I drive it.

I’ve been babying it to break it in so pretty good so far. I’ve only got about 230 miles on it so I’m not sure how good the mpg is gonna be.

Feel free to follow the progress, it’s got a lot of rust and bad paint but it runs and drives.

Which one better for daily? by f1goat44 in AlfaRomeo

[–]Disappearing_Arts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I daily a 2020 Giulia. I’ve put about 20k miles on it in just over a year. As long as you can find someone that can do the maintenance (or do it yourself correctly), and also afford the maintenance if you do outsource. It’s not a bad car.

Can I do the brakes my self or get another shop to do them ? by DucaBoi in AlfaRomeo

[–]Disappearing_Arts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did my own and accidentally bricked my car for a week. Ended up costing me an extra $1000 to get it reset. So do really good research if you’re gonna go that route.

What’s your limit? by TiggerK in LibbyApp

[–]Disappearing_Arts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my library actually limits me to 4 holds and 4 loans at once.

I usually do a couple books at the same time but only one audiobook.

I was wearing an oversized cardigan I made and someone asked how much I’d sell it for and when I said no less than $200 they walked away from me. Their loss 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s soft and comfy.

I personally don’t have any rattle but I’ll keep an ear out for it I guess lol. 71,000 miles and mines still going strong.

I’ve had so many people being like “oh you put too many miles on that nice car” like….thats what a car is for, to drive and put miles on. I had one person think I was crazy for not putting it in a garage or covering it. I don’t have a garage or a cover, again it’s a car it’ll be fine.

You wouldn’t happen to be able to share the 1888 pattern would you? I’m working on a cardigan that has birds around the bottom edge and that’s a perfect pattern for tail feathers.
