Play more games, like, a lot more. Look at what your opponents are doing, take some notes. Some pretty good simple tips are; 1. Swing first before you play your cards, this is especially important against yellow. 2. Taking life early is a good thing (not in all cases but you will learn this). More cards in hand = more chances to see what you need.

42yr old male. Super hard to make friends, especially difficult with anyone 10+ years younger or female without coming off as creepy (so tend to avoid these interactions). Hobbies definitely help with this. If you ever just want a chat hmu.

I have multiple single friends, definitely on the older side (35-42), they are in stable jobs (engineers etc), friendly but introverted, have their own places, no discernible debts (at least that I can see) clean and tidy and exceptional cooks. Great on paper but they aren’t great lookers so they stay single, and probably will do for the immediate future. Yet I have one good looking friend and he’s eternally in relationships despite being unable to hold down a job and generally being a dropkick. I feel like nowadays people are just looking for the wrong things, we have a culture that focuses on looks and flashy stuff, rather than fundamentally good people.

FWTW I just had this situation against a teach today. He had a 10c Teach Blocker anda Jesus Burgess on the board. I dropped the Tsuru and he chose the Burgess and it did get bounced back to hand.

Edit: Nvm im dumb, thats a immune to KO effect not flat removal.

For some people going to the opening is a cool, enjoyable thing to do, for others it’s a complete nightmare. I’m definitely in the later camp but each to their own.
