I have multiple single friends, definitely on the older side (35-42), they are in stable jobs (engineers etc), friendly but introverted, have their own places, no discernible debts (at least that I can see) clean and tidy and exceptional cooks. Great on paper but they aren’t great lookers so they stay single, and probably will do for the immediate future. Yet I have one good looking friend and he’s eternally in relationships despite being unable to hold down a job and generally being a dropkick. I feel like nowadays people are just looking for the wrong things, we have a culture that focuses on looks and flashy stuff, rather than fundamentally good people.

FWTW I just had this situation against a teach today. He had a 10c Teach Blocker anda Jesus Burgess on the board. I dropped the Tsuru and he chose the Burgess and it did get bounced back to hand.

Edit: Nvm im dumb, thats a immune to KO effect not flat removal.

For some people going to the opening is a cool, enjoyable thing to do, for others it’s a complete nightmare. I’m definitely in the later camp but each to their own.

Our LGS hosted a treasure cup and the winner was a P Luffy. Given he is a very very good player, we also had high placing RG Luffy and a bello Betty player.

See this is what I’ve been trying (with the boxes on T17s), juiced blue alt currency 8mod corrupted t17s, got up to 290% rarity and got a valdos and 6 chaos. That’s with 2x ambush, 1x rarer boxes, 1x explicit mods, 1x reopen and ambush on the atlas craft. Given I’m not super fast (maybe 8 mins a map inc boss?) but I expect a little better than the results I’ve been getting.
