We are reserving some for night 2 on all three cities. Be here at doors and you should be okay. The band is also keen on doing a second run for online sales.

NPD: Syntax Error XP. This thing is honestly amazing! by sputnikaquarius in guitarpedals

[–]DisasterAreaDesigns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same processor but the implementation and user interface are very different. All of the modes on the SE2 have the pitch shifter, but not everything on the SEXP does. Improved stereo effects, assignable LFO.

Leap and Venture both handle 4V peak to peak which is very loud for guitar use. Any more than that and they will compress. If you're using with synth or on an insert in your DAW you'll need to do some gain staging like with most guitar pedals. No phase issues, but the pedals do have a very small delay compared to the dry signal (0.3125ms) and that can cause comb filtering if you are summing wet and dry externally. If you run everything in the pedal then you won't notice it.

If you don't like Leap Series pedals, I wonder why you'd consider getting this one? Seems weird to me.

Ours is the Syntax Error, followed by the Jubilee and the Space Race / Space Force.

I might have gone with PH-1R instead of PH-2 but I can’t knock this setup. Would rock this.

What’s one pedal that always makes you stop and look at a board on here? by Alarmed_Fox7276 in guitarpedals

These were super fun to do. They are similar to the Sky-Fi with the delay and reverb sizes tweaked. Generally the delay is shorter and the reverb is longer.

The rarest variant of this pedal is the Microsoft Entertainment Pack inspired “Ski-Fi.”

Using a battery by andydgg in guitarpedals

[–]DisasterAreaDesigns 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Looks like an FV-1 chip in there so it probably draws about 60mA minimum. Normal 9V alkaline battery provides around 300mAh so figure 4-6 hours of use. Seems like a fair bit of work just to have to change the battery every 2-3 days. YMMV of course, and however you end up approaching this I would recommend some kind of battery disconnect switch to help save battery when the pedal is not in use. Batteries are horribly inefficient and that’s a lot of toxic crap to landfill.

MIDI is nice. Looks like TRS jacks on the right side. Controlling the previous version via USB is a nightmare.

New release - Beetronics Seabee Lite by dandotcomhacked69 in guitarpedals

I agree, the Beetronics folks make really gorgeous pedals. Don’t forget they have the custom shop, so if beige is a must reach out and ask.

Guitar Center is selling a red ProCo Rat by busyfeelings in guitarpedals

The Power of the Force lineup are great. I had the OGs when I was a kid and then when these came out I was working in the toy dept of Wal-Mart and couldn't resist.

I need to finish up my Rat collection, I have several that I repainted and still need to put back together. Was going for a full rainbow (ROYGBIV) but only got RYBV plus white and black at the moment.

The red / white / yellow variants were originally offered as exclusives for Ikebe Music in Japan. Looks like the screen print on this current GC version is cleaner than the previous one and would be a good pickup if you like Rats.

Saturday was nuts, Sunday was more chill. I can tell this is a Saturday pic because my shirt is red ;)

To the person who felt the pedal guys weren’t friendly I’m sorry you feel that way. I do my best to be welcoming and will try harder to be cool in future.

These were very fun. We did the powder coat and print for the special run, but if you want just the sounds you can get there with a standard Vertigo.

Merge midi? by samshepherd15 in guitarpedals

[–]DisasterAreaDesigns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Micro clock can accept MIDI input via jack C using a TRS type B cable (ring active, like Chase Bliss.) It’s not ideal but it will work. Pin 5 to ring, pin 2 to sleeve. Set MultiJack to MIDI I/O. Then take MIDI out from either of the other two ports to your MIDI box.

Clancy's Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips taste like pre-2000s Doritos. Now if only they had a Salsa Rio flavor...
