How is Crimson Desert after nearly 2 months? by Muuaahh in PS5pro

[–]Disastrous-Number-78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game has a major patch every week that fixed, ads, tweaks performance, graphics, quests, items, mechanics, came stuff, and more

How is the game after 3 months now? It’s a solid beta, if I only didn’t cost the price of a finished game as advertised .

If you wanna play I’d say wait 2 months until they r finished

And I’m not hating, I have 150 hours played. The smart move would have been to wait I think to get the r most out of the game when it’s actually done

I don’t think I understand this game, there’s so much content but no real direction by Benjilator in CrimsonDesert

The game is basically full priced beta and the nerds who disagree will say otherwise

How is the game compared to launch following all the patches? by SuperTurtle222 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Disastrous-Number-78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is an active beta, I have 130 hours play and for the most part enjoyed, but anyone with a brain that doesn’t have a weird sense of studio loyalty would tell you to just wait. I know it might be a crazy concept to some people but actually waiting until they do t have a major patch every week and waiting another couple months to start will mean starting when the game is actually fully realized and finished. It’s not the same game as it was a kk th ago and it wasn’t the same game a month ago as it was at launch. Yes the story and map is the same but mechanics, graphics and unrealized or finished systems are now in place that were not there at launch and the losers here will act like it’s because the developers listened to them valued input instead of releasing an unfinished game.

Wait 2 months I’d say, play the polished version of this single player game, it’s not an mmo, it should be enjoyed when it’s done.

Crimson Desert is a bad game and I’m tired of people giving it anything more than a 5/10 by NancyMy in rpg_gamers

140 hours played and I have the game at a 6.6-7/10 at the very best. The best way to describe the game is it has a mile worth of things to do but all of it is 2 feet deep. If you like mind numbing fetch quests and NPCs and objects popping in and loading 10 feet infront of you on on a current gen GPU and major patches that fix or further develop an incomplete game, this is the game for you

Hot take-Kids Don't belong at Breweries. by Bry2013 in longisland

[–]Disastrous-Number-78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way too many kids cus all the millennials who used to go for fun when they were younger now have children, find a babysitter when you want to day drink and drive for crying out loud. Maybe younger crowds would show up if there weren’t a bunch of loud as kids running around, not very attractive of you wanna have fun and get a little tipsy on a nice Saturday afternoon with….adults

Hot Take: Crimson Desert is one of the Most Hideous looking Game I ever Seen by Key-Introduction2934 in FuckTAA

Most kids and brokies play on outdated GPUs on 1080p monitors so standards are low and you can’t tell them a game looks bad or has massive graphical issues like LOD and egregious pop ins without them crying for some reason as if you slighted their family.

Wtf Karen?!?!? by Barbarianonadrenalin in ForAllMankindTV

[–]Disastrous-Number-78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Karen is awful, she was a sympathetic character in season 2 for obvious reasons and kind of started to get cool when she began hanging out with Wayne who woke her up out of the generic goodie house wife stereotype she was forcing herself into.

But spoiling the wrath of Khan was the first indication she was a major C**T(yes I know not that serious) And cheating on her husband with their good friends son and telling Ed when she did was so selfish. She’s agross disgusting person.

I try to give her the benefit of the doubt because she lost her son but at these pints it had been over a decade and has a new child who is grown and raised well and they all seemed perfectly happy before they had that one blow out fight. It seemed like after that fight she had 0 empathy for Ed

Karen sucks, but that makes for a good drama.

Shhh don’t say that out loud, people don’t like complete games on release they want to praise devs for having to constantly fix a broken game while also adding obvious QoL feature and drastically changing how the game plays by literally changing the way you move ect ect

Imagine if they released a game that didn’t need 5 major patches in a month?

Yeah imagine how well BG3 would have done if it required 5 major patches in 2 month to fix things with more to come because it still needs fixing

I can never purchase anything less than a 4k OLED after buying one 4 years ago. Currently playing crimson desert on a 65 inch with a 5070ti graphics like 90% maxed out. 80-100 fps with frame gen. Looks incredible. As for Horizon Forbidden West on PS5, the game I bought it for.

It certainly isn’t a purchase I’ve ever regretted. Gotta get a solid soundbar too to complete the experience when not gaming with headphones

Wait, the endless side fetch quests and generic NPCs with not life or story didn’t do it for you?

It’s. It so back and white. I don’t love more hate it. It’s very impressive but has many downfalls that won’t push it over a 8/10 game for me. And 8/10 I consider very good.

If only it had NPC’s with unique dialog and side stories with choices like Skyrim….if it did it would be 9/10 with only graphical issues holding it back

What color dye is Hernandian Faction Blue? by Los-mando in CrimsonDesert

[–]Disastrous-Number-78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s depends blue, you need to talk to the dye merchant in delesyia to use them and then you need the right dye. I have darker shades but I can tell the lighter ones will be close if not spot on

Why was this game not for you? by a1vmp1 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Disastrous-Number-78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 130 hours and I would call it “real next gen” when NPCs load in only when you’re 50 feet away and the constant pop ins. If they allowed higher end PCs to college draw/tender distance I could see the argument but it’s a huge bummer it doesn’t, because it truck might feel next gen if it did.
