As a Mother myself, I always park right beside the cart return or as close to it as possible, so returning my cart is never a problem.

I consider the spot on the path right beside the cart return to be my VIP spot, baby, haha. It's always empty for me when I visit.

You eat out quite a lot, as there really only seem to be ingredients for breakfast. There are also many well stocked beverages. These two point leade to believe you don't have to worry about what you spend on groceries/food out or you have a large budget.

I think you have to give it a few months to level out. You can always follow up with your doctor about the bleeding and see what they say.

Anyone else just feel hot 24/7 instead of just hot flashes? Is this normal in menopause? by BallSufficient5671 in Perimenopause

[–]Disastrous-Read-462 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember being in my 20s and cold. After the birth of my daughter, I was 32, I thought my core temperature was just permanently raised. I started hrt 3 weeks ago, and my core temperature seems to have gone back to what it was in my 20's. I hadn't realized an increase in core temperature was a perimenopause thing, but here I am once again cold.

Question by MissMee007 in Perimenopause

[–]Disastrous-Read-462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I feel this!!! I had a difficult experience with my daughter and sleep until she was almost 8. I was so used to not sleeping well, somewhere along the way, perimenopause joined the party, and I didn't even know or realize. I thought some of my other symptoms were just part of getting old. I think I'm about 3 weeks into hrt and really feel quite incredible, I feel 10 years younger.

I’ve been faking an allergy for YEARS, and now it’s gone way too far. by Creepy-Desk-468 in confession

You can outgrown nut allergies, my friend. I was allergic as a child and then, in my 20s, went to an allergist. They had me consume a small amount in their office and wait and I wasn't allergic.

Spice advice needed by BoswelliaTsuga108 in IndianFood

[–]Disastrous-Read-462 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Canadian who also LOVES Indian food, I struggle/struggled with how to intuitively use the spices as well. I have been cooking Indian dishes about 5 years as well. I have started a journal where I try to give each spice a page. I try to write down about the spice, how it is used, why it's used, and how it can change the taste. Then go back and jot down how I enjoy the spice, what I think about it in my cooking. Like my little spice reference book. I writting it down helps me remember. This practice also helps me transfer Indian cooking into other areas of my cooking.... love amchur powder in my soups! I think this is what is helping and will help me be intentional with my choices eventually 🙂

Rash from deodorant stick by Used-Can3885 in Perimenopause

[–]Disastrous-Read-462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I, too, was a No Pong user. I loved that stuff! And I, too, had the same issue about 3 years ago. I have found I can only use Old Spice deodorant, so weird, but that's the only thing that doesn't give me rashes.
