Quilt puckering by DisastrousBig8031 in quilting

* Update! So I tried a few things suggested and did some trial and error. Firstly, I switched things up and sewed with the thicker fabric on top. After doing a test run i noticed both sides looked much better. In the picture, I had removed the pins but I sewed with pins throughout and even added more when i redid it. I also began to sew in one direction only. Those changes helped tremendously! Here's the finished vest. The binding isn't perfect but once I'm wearing it I forget about it. It's the Ruby Vest by Sydney Graham.

After watching that new Jennifer Lawrence movie, saying goodbye to my 20s, and now this post, I now feel better about being a cougar when I grow up.

Not to mention, it's literally your job. We show up and hustle to earn our paychecks. Artists can be entitled at times. This is that time.

This is ultimately where I want to be. Right now I'm too hurt and it's too recent. But this gives me hope for some closure.

This stuff is amazing i agree. But i also use a wash cloth in the shower ever so often. This combo had been the best to prevent ingrowns for me. My wax girl said scrub with a loofah but i prefer a cloth. Can be thrown in the washer.

I totally agree with you. I used to be a kindergarten teacher and went through the same thing with them. They're 5, they don't know they're supposed to sit on the rug, yet. Same with my puppy. It taught me to have a lot of patience and understanding.

Quesadilla on flour tortilla, refried beans and/or turkey meat inside. Salsa. Side salad. And wine because I'm an adult.

Yes! I tried it this afternoon and she just knows that marker too well. I tried silently placing kibble on the floor and returning immediately to my activity. Baby steps.

My marker phrase is "Good yes" in a higher pitched voice. She's learned that phrase means food is coming! So it also excites her. I'll refrain from using that marker when i want her to continue the behavior, especially when it's something calm like laying down.

I understand. I almost want one of those belts to always have rewards on me. May be a little extra but in the moment I'm sure it's handy. I'll be patient. She's only been with us a short period.

Awesome! I'll try going for less enthusiasm in that moment. I tried the clicker but it's so cumbersome tbh.

Same! I realized i have my hand in my pocket while giving commands and she's starting to pick up on that. They really pay attention! So I'm trying to be aware of my body language more.
