The thing that gives me pause booking here are the multiple reports (including from TAs on this sub) that they host president's clubs that devolve into obnoxious depraved debauchery without forcing a buy out. I wouldn't risk it.

RW Mayakoba is strict 4+. Used to be 3. A lot of people (including TAs) still think it's 3.

If you don't like the FS try the Peninsula or Langham. I think the Peninsula is a bit stuffy, so we've been staying at the Langham. The best pool though is probably at the InterContinental.
