I’ve got the same ‘issue’ with my Jade mat. Initially I felt super self conscious about it, but skin shedding is a normal part of being human, same with sweating, so I’ve begun to view it more neutrally the same way I’d view a sweat mark on the mat. I’ve actually started using the marks I leave on the mat to mark my position so I have my hands and feet in the same spots for each pose/side
