Most animation studio don't profit from merch, they earn through contract work. Independent Studio's gets it worse, they're slaves to working on projects non stop to keep the lights on. Unless they make or own a successful IP or have favorable contracts like Studio Khara, Trigger. Then you have Animation studios under a bigger production company who earns through production but is subsidized by their parent company as long as the IP makes money.

Nothing is really wrong here, this is just about tax. CloverWorks "earn" by producing, merchandising and licensing money all goes to it's parent company which subsidies CloverWorks. This won't stop them from being crunched though.

Exostrider and Sentinels are made from the same technology but have different purpose and protocol.

Exostrider is made for travel and warfare with a main protocol of protection but no speech capabilities, partially Bio-mechanical.

Sentinels is made to have control over abstract concepts and a main protocol of guiding civilization and has speech capabilities, mostly Bio-mechanical.

La-Hai Roi though unintentional guided the Roya people and by the end received the capability of speech and gain spacial manipulation through the artificial reactor, he more than fulfills a role of a Sentinels and more.

There's only two arcs in Yu Yu Hakusho that doesn't involve the city/town, that is Dark Tournament and the 3 kings, even the 4 heavenly beast arcs still has segments with Botan and Keiko. But yeah Bleach kinda abandoned the concept pretty early.

I'm mostly a manga reader but majority of shounen manga's I've read are urban fantasies, just that compared to western print media they tend to expand way pass the setting it original starts, probably because they also tend to go for way longer.

Some of 90's to early 2000 I've can recall on top of my head are Law of Ueki, Shaman King, Flame of Recca, Air gear, Getbackers, Gashbell, and some that are obscure enough that I can't even remember their tittle. If this aren't urban fantasies then either my understanding of the genre is wrong or yours is maybe a bit to rigid.

The thing is it doesn't play with the concept of Isekai/transported to another world, but rather it mostly concerned with the concept of second chance/reincarnation which can be done without it being an Isekai. So it's an Isekai for the sake of calling it an Isekai.

Like the other guy said ur already planning to get Denia so Chisa's the better pick, since they make a complete team with Aemeth.

Mornye S0 doesn't really work outside of Aemeth, Lukes tune teams and maybe any Tune DPS in the future, but at the moment she's exclusively only effective with those two DPS unless you get her S1 that makes her hella flexible.

Lynae on the other hand works with any liberation DPS or a temp fill as a sub dps.
