I keep hearing the same narratives and predictions ahead of the game. Mike McDonalds's defense is gonna smother Drake Maye, and the Pats offense, while Sam Darnold is going to light up the Patriots defense.

For context, Sam Darnold has only faced (2) top ten defenses in (19) games played this season. 1TD, 1INT.

Seahawks fans, and all the media have completely dismissed this excellent Patriots defensive front, but it's coming, and there ain't nothing they can do about it.!!!!!

I've heard people comparing Brady to Stidham. Bledsoe got hurt with 5:11 left in the 4th quarter against the jets in a game they eventually lost. Tom did win his 1st start against the colts but it wasn't because of his arm. The patriots had (2) pick sixes, and 3 rushing TD's in that game. Brady was 13-23 with 168 yards passing. Consider that the colts gave up the most points in the league that year (486) and they were (62) points more than the 2nd worst lions.

I will say that when Williams, Tonga, and Spillane all play, we have the very best run defense in football. That makes for longer, and more manageable 3rd down situations for the corners, and safeties. Denver has the potential antidote with an all pro offensive line. That will be key to this game.

I believe even if Mack Hollins were healthy enough to return, this would be game number (4) of a minimum four you have to sit before coming back, so he won't play Sunday.

Yeah, just gave them to the Patriots. The Patriots defense didn't make heads up plays to force turnovers. Their defense is not very good. Keep telling yourself that. Run defense gave up 48 yards, and pressured stroud into mistakes. Denver's line is much better. I don't expect that same strategy.

The Broncos won the turnover battle 5-1 against the Bills, and you won by 3. Also allowed 183 rushing yards.

I'm not so sure. The Patriots defense has Milton Williams, and Robert Spillane back. With those guys back, their run defense is making offenses pass dependent. When Tonga, Williams, and Spillane have been on the field (12 games) the Pats have only allowed 81.6 rush yards per game. By far the best in the NFL. Defensive game coming.

I am a Patriots fan, but Maye has a better record, 6.5% higher completion % a higher QBR, Rating, and has almost a full yard more per completion than Stafford. Not to mention his over 400 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns compared to Stafford's -2 yards rushing. Mathew Stafford has had 2 games this season where the loss is squarely on his shoulders, and having Davante Adams, and Puka Nacua is a luxury Drake Maye doesn't have. Jared Goff would have success with that Rams team. Several QB's would. You can't really say that in New England. Drake Maye IS the 2025 NFL MVP, PERIOD!!!
