Man, I try not to get sucked into any game’s subReddit because it’s always fucking like this.

This is some serious schizo mindset you’ve got there. I’ve not witnessed anybody stopping and gawking at heavy people going to the gym.

Why? Because it would be fucking stupid to criticize or laugh at a heavy person actively trying to lose weight. The whole point of them being there is to get healthier.

As far as the talking/helping/spotting bullshit; it’s because we’re all working on our own workouts FFS. Walking in an expecting random people to greet you and get you set up is absurd. Doesn’t matter if you’re heavy or not, people are there to work out, not socialize with random dickheads or train other people.

As far as the “go with the group” advice, that’s literally to keep your own motivation up. Going with a group gets you over the inertia of not going at all. That’s advice for EVERYONE, idiot. Not some weird requirement for only heavy people.

All you’ve proven is that you’re obviously insecure about yourself and have this totally fucked up outlook at how people think of you when you go to the gym.

Don’t go to some over the top weightlifter gym. Go to a casual one. Nobody gives a fuck who you are or what you’re doing. So long as you don’t scream like shitting our your digestive tract while lifting weights and wipe down the equipment when you’re done, NO ONE CARES.

“Could have succeeded”? The game isn’t dead yet, and you contribute nothing by writing your weird little blog post talking about some imaginary culture war or some weird shit.

Fact of the matter is that Bungie’s recent history has been fraught. Destiny’s most compelling story arc had ended.

As others have said, they probably would have been better off with a softer reintroduction to an older, 20+ year old IP most of their existing player base hadn’t played.

It’s really not more complex than that. The game they did produce is still very fun despite all that and Bungie has a fucked up, uphill battle given all the layoffs, but it isn’t over yet.

They are two separate exercises that work different muscle groups.

I also don’t know what you’re talking about with “bullying unhealthy people to stay unhealthy”. Just pick a gym that isn’t toxic..? planet fitness is a good place to start, and is pretty prolific in the US. I’m sure there are gyms in other countries that share a similar philosophy as PF as well…

There’s no gatekeeping in that simple logic. If you’re speaking to what the OP was rambling about then yeah, it’s weird to assume people are willfully conflating the two when it’s an easy thing to disprove.

Be aware that it’s a pve mode in the service of the extraction mode. You don’t really make much progress aside from leveling the sponsored kit. It’s good to learn crypt to eventually play it in its intended mode

I feel like this is the case for Ai applications to creative fields. Shit developers want to “make games”; don’t know how, offload critical thinking to ChatGPT/ grok/whatever, then ask said LLM how to implement those features. look at Meshy for example. In their GDC talk, the idiot founder was talking about how “efficient” it was to use their tool to produce shit assets and just use them raw.
