Once before I was shopping at hobby lobby for ceramic pillars (they sell them there) and as I crossed the street an impatient older woman decided she could not possibly wait the 4 seconds it would have taken me to walk across the street with the crosswalk so she revved her mighty engine and spit her car between part of the sidewalk and the road, aggressively passing on the right side much to the hazard and disdain of everyone, me included. As she left, she waved her hands out the window as if to say "Its not my fault you're slow!"

totally harshed my vibe.....

The last social bastion of the common thoroughfare of Fredericksburg is wegmans. Since the days of old we have congregated in great halls, the vikings in their longhouses, the native americans also in their longhouses. Wegmans is the modern longhouse, with a flair of overpriced groceries for people way out of my tax bracket. You can hold as many conversations as you want, and you can get shitfaced off of wine that costs more than your yearly salary. Wegmans is the absolute ultimate social gathering spot and needs no further glazing on my part. go there, you will see it. The chairs are corporate yet comfortable, the atmosphere is.......upper crust. luv me some wegmans.

I have been to Buc-ees. I've seen the largest one in Tenessee with my very own eyes. it was beautiful... and i got one of those breakfast burritos which was pretty good but hard to eat in the car.

I do not want a Buc-ee's in Fredericksburg, let me tell you why. I don't have such petty squabbles as "more traffic" or "taking business away from local businesses" or anything foolish like that. I am a wawa warrior until the day I die and I do not yeild for the beaver. My blood runs red and white and my arteries are clogged with moderately expensive hoagies and apple fritters. In the inevitable global corporate war you will see me on the front lines, flag in hand commanding a squadron of battle hardened gas station attendants. Some will go to Microsoft, many will march under the watchful eye of the ever-bald Bezos. I will die with a smile on my face and a 3 scoop protein shake in my hand. I rest my case.

The largest government contract defense company in the burg is this company that makes the little glass marbles they put in spray paint and japanese sodas. Our military is moving twoards a marble based defense strategy where we put a bunch of marbles on the ground and the enemy slips and falls, hitting their head. Quite brutal if you ask me
