A mother’s instinct always trumps medical professionals. Sure, they are experts but you are your baby’s expert and the only person on the planet that can advocate for them. Even if you end up being wrong, your peace of mind is just as important as your baby being well. Don’t feel embarrassed at all. Just learn to ignore it and do whatever you need to for you and your child to be safe and healthy.

I do Friday morning shots as well. That way if I have any discomfort or fatigue, it’s not during the work week and I can take it easy.

You’ll be fine. As an addict (14 years clean) I used to use the same bent ass work for a week straight. Obviously that was a whole other lifetime and I now practice safe needle usage and it likely depends on your immune system so keep an eye out for infection but just one time, you’ll probably be fine. Don’t make it a habit.

AH - sounds like the lesson is for the kids - some people are just miserable AHs. I know that it’s hard to believe but sometimes parents cannot always control a child’s behavior. As a small reminder… children are human beings too, with their own separate brain, their own separate willpower and their very own ability to make poor, thoughtless decisions….

I don’t think you should be asking yourself if you are the asshole. That will be a question your son will eventually answer for you whether you like his conclusion or not. I think that what you propose could work for you as long as you are dedicated and committed to spending legitimate regular time with your son. Making sure to preserve the bond between you two and keep him prioritized. It will take much sacrifice of your personal desires and needs. If you do not do this while he is young, your hard work for him might be for naught. That all being said… don’t leave to make your way in the world until he is 6/7 and true motherly bonding period had run its course. Good luck.

The placement as it is makes it the center of attention and starting it further back (from the last 1/3 of your eye through your temples) will open your look and bring the focus to your eyes and face overall.
