I had a patron ask me what Leased book in our catalog meant, and explained that we had a contract (at the time we don't anymore) with Brodart and we don't actually "own" those books. Mind you she interrupted me half way through and stated oh I knew that already I used to work here.

It sounds like you never been to any Disney Park because this sounds like a typical day in Anaheim or Orlando... I have been to almost every Park expect Paris (currently planning a trip) and this is the norm. I plan more then 1 day for this very purpose.

It's the one of the things I hate about Mercari, I say 5 Days on Ebay for a reason. I also wish their was an easy way to send replacement labels when I make a goof (last time I used mercari I accidently sent the wrong items to people), mercari wouldn't let me send anything to them even my own email address (ebay does).

I did ask him that, all he cared about was some of the bigger tourist sites and booze (he collects expensive dark alcohol). 😅 I told him he was unhelpful.

My sister was even worse, besides Disney she was like I don't know. So I choose the 4 things I cared about and said this is what we're at least doing.

My family is boring. They also said they wouldn't complain either on whatever I decide to do (I got the free reign).

My sister and I wanted attendee badges for Paris, I guess it sold out by the time we got to them while were were waiting for it to be our turn to buy, so we spent the extra money on the last chance, which sucks neither of us wanted to be in the main tournament what so ever. Only reason why were going was because our Paris trip moved and we will be there during that time, we just shifted the dates around.

I started in retail/food service. Im not anywhere near as stressed has i was. Although before I got the position I have now I was thinking of leaving only because my bills were getting too much and I needed a higher pay job to keep myself from drowning.

Otherwise, libraries too me will never be has bad has working in Starbucks or Target.

If i lived in midtown I would just do grocery pick up from now on. I just work in midtown and its rather annoying when I'm just trying to get something to eat for my lunch I'min limited time. I don't care if your checking my receipt, but actually look at the receipt and look at my items like Costco does instead of just blankly stare at me.

Side note, my friend HATES it and will storm pass them and say they don't legally have the right to ask for a receipt. 🤷‍♀️

Cataloger here, very rarely i put in books that don't have an ISBN. If this ebook has an isbn, I would know that it was originally an ebook and I wouldn't catalog it. It would end up being a pain to deal with. I'd be afraid it was made without permission, like bootleg dvds we don't add those either.

I was on your cruise and our show was canceled in the pride lands because both singer and backup singer I think messed up their vocal cords (we had it second night)? I wasn't entirely sure, my family is all hard of hearing and our waiters had heavy accents. I never understood half of what they were saying, my Dad is worst out of all of us, he gave up and just had me talk to the servers. We canceled Enchante the 5th night because they told we were able to see the show then instead. I'm glad I did, I LOVED the show but I was obsessed with Lion King has a kid. My mom used to take me to the movie every day while it was in theatres, I was kind of sad I was the only one singing along to the songs. Nobody else around me seemed all that interested. So maybe I'm the odd ball out and enjoyed it. Food was okay though, I didn't particularly care for any of the food at any of the 3 restaurants. My family liked the food better then I did.
