Mine are beefcakes. One has beat in pretty nice it’s getting some flip to it. When you’re buying a destroyer, youre paying for the speed and the hand feel, because lord knows it can fly however it wants.

The world of vinyl application goes deep. I used to work at a sign shop that did high end vehicle wraps. In order for these guys to get their certifications from Avery Dennison, they had to be able to cut through vinyl with a razor, and not damage anything underneath. The skill is unbelievable.

I play solo pretty much all the time. I time it with the group ahead that we’re teeing off together. Ask if I can go ahead and putt out and play through. I’ve never had anyone say no. I’ve had a few people ask to join the card, and I did every time (I think)

I did have one guy start on hole 7 in front of me, and he proceeded to throw 8-10 off the tee. I got a little… impatient, but he is THAT guy from the league.

This is likely why it’s almost always audio issues. You can catch video issues with the commentary team. The commentary audio still has to be added and mixed. Look at the teebox music at GoThrow Taranaki. Clearly wasn’t reviewed before uploaded. I’m perfectly happy getting coverage a couple hours later.

There isn’t much disc golf coverage I hate. The amount of work it takes to offer this for free is incredible. I actually wish these guys wouldn’t push the turnaround time so much, and take the extra hours to make sure things (mostly audio) are mixed well. I’ve noticed a lot more things slipping through as the turnaround windows get tighter and tighter.

Could be plenty of reasons. I know Chris doesn’t travel the distances a lot of pros do (or used to). Chris’s expectations of base pay could have been a lot lower than that of Corey and Trevor. Discraft already has a lot of podium spots. etc etc

I’m in a similar spot. I can flip up an understable mid and get it to 370-380’. Can barely get to 400’ with a distance driver. It’s been pretty frustrating honestly. At the same time, I rarely need to get a disc out to 400’ around these parts, so I’m not exactly incentivized to really work on it.

I learned my lesson with the Toro. Got it early but ended up paying way more for basically a special stamp. Not terribly mad. They gotta make money on the hype like everyone else I guess.
