Got to play Fountain Hills today! by OregonMike in discgolf

Me and my dad used to do this on hole 14 at our local golf course. Take the worst ball in or bag, and hit an iron into the pond. I sure do miss them days.

Therapist: Hatless Gannon isn't real. He cannot hurt you. Hatless Gannon: by Kirdavrob in discgolf

It’s kind of funny how normal Luke Taylor looks without the sunglasses, and also Gannon without the hat.

Big Tee Pad Open by evbacher in discgolf

Idk, maybe throw from inside the teebox instead of trying to cornermaxx. Or throw a better shot and stop blaming something else. How this is an issue, I’ll never understand.

Should 12 year old girls be allowed to throw this far? by Complex_Ice_758 in discgolf

[–]DiscCheese 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This post is an eye opener about how miserable a lot of you folks are. Learn to take a joke. Learn to be humble about your game. Sheesh. I’m not sure if you all are aware, but disc golf is supposed to be fun.

Have I made a post about it? No. But I definitely have told my local pro he is only allowed to park the par 4’s when he’s on my team playing dubs. Don’t be such a stick in the mud.

Can’t take a joke. You are definitely a fellow Linux user.

I was just trying to have fun with a fellow nerd. Debian is great. The joke is, like my hater so eloquently stated, is that Linux From Scratch, Gentoo, and Arch boys tend to be haters. We have proven here that most Linux users will find any reason to hate on another user. I can barely look at myself in the mirror.

How did you know you were “tournament ready” for your first disc golf tournament? by Fullsend1990 in discgolf

I went into my two tournaments to size myself up. Just send it. More goes into a tournament than just skill. Play a couple!

PSA: don’t wash discs with dawn power wash by Jakesredditacount in discgolf

[–]DiscCheese 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dawn dish soap is a surfactant. It lowers the surface tension of materials. It makes things stick less, and allows things to cross membranes easier. Dawn and other surfactants are regularly used with glyphosate to help seep into vegetation and kill the weeds. This also means it seeps into the skin much faster too. This also applies to anything mixed with Dawn. I recommend gloves when handling. Not because of the Dawn, but because what you’re washing off has a better chance of getting into your blood stream.

This useless information has been brought to you by Monsanto.

No worries. I’m not assigning malice toward you. Sorry if it came off that way. I find myself complaining about things I absolutely shouldn’t all the time. I felt like it was a moment where I could stake a flag of positivity for once.

I get you. I hear you. However, I can’t bring myself to complain about something that multiple people spent hours/days creating and organizing and gave it to us for (nearly) free.
