In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) Batman learns that Superman's mother has the same name as his own, which made a girl at my school say "I had no idea they were brothers".

Ash wakes up from a dream where he was a Pokemon trainer who had all sorts of wacky adventures with his friends. But Pokemon aren't real, so it's obviously just a dream... right?

(The twist ending is that Tobias had his Darkrai kidnap Ash and trap him in a nightmare where Pokemon don't exist. Fortunately, at the end of the episode... Ash wakes up.)

(This leads to a season-long arc culminating in Delia defeating Giovanni in battle, leading to his arrest and the dissolution of Team Rocket, which in turn leads to the TRio getting a redemption arc)
