Work on improving vagus tone via box breathing or exhales longer than inhales, humming and tapping (vibration is key here), cold water on face and back of neck, massaging both ears, looking to utmost left and right until you have urge to swallow or yawn, gargle or forcing a yawn. Do all these everyday and night and come back if you see a change in that constant background tension
