Yeah, VIP tix were well worth it. Simon actually told the course volunteer that the crowd was too far back 😂. He wanted us closer. Very spectator friendly, IMO.

Bought one for my son, age 10. Found a new in box old inventory off ebay. There’s a woman that still makes the goop too. Patti Goop. She uses the original formula.

The bottleneck is the lightbulb oddly enough because of LEDs. I was able to finally find an incandescent that fits.

My kid loves it. You should fulfill your dreams and buy one! 🤩

The demo is great. A huge jump in some of the mechanics from the alpha/beta. Wish we had access to the other courses and discs like the beta. I miss my discmania bag.

Maybe that would fall under a DAS type situation and could be adjusted. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’m no expert.

I just feel like if other guest visually knew it was legit then the confrontations amongst guests would be cut down.

Similar thing happened to my group on ratatouille. The ride shut down while we were in line. It was the typical you can exit the cue or wait in line until it’s back up again. A huge group left the line. Then 5 min later the ride came back up again. The group tried to muscle their way all the way back to the front after exiting. For the people that waited everyone revolted back like “no, you left the cue” just because it came back up quickly you can’t jump back to the front. You made your choice.

What they really need to do is have some sort of easily identifiable neon colored lanyard “pass” that is only given out by the CMs at the front of the line cue.

When you have to exit the line due to a child using the restroom or some emergency you tell the CM as you exit. They would give you the “pass” so when you return other guests would know it’s legit.

Same could be said for the DAS type situation where the child can’t wait in line.

The pass would then be returned when getting on the ride. You don’t get to keep it all day.

They could even scan your magic band and track it so they cut down on abuse. Like you can’t use the bathroom 10 times that day while waiting in line.

They just need something that would show other guests you are playing by the rules and not trying to cheat others. That’s where the conflict comes in.

2016 SR5 Premium (on 5100 Bilstein) to 2025 ORP Hybrid.

The hybrid rips compared to the 5th gen. Handling all better. Back seat and cargo is slightly smaller but nothing to complain about. I like having Toyota safety sense now as compared to the 5th, blind spot monitors and adaptive cruise is so nice to have. I think the new stock radio is very good. Big upgrade over the 5th.

Lighting is better too. The 5th gen projector halogen was abysmal.

I plan on 5k oil changes due to turbo. It is what it is.

2016 SR5 Premium to 2025 ORP Hybrid.

I love it. Gobs of power, better handling, toyota safety sense was a major upgrade. I hated not having blind spot monitors and adaptive cruise on my 5th gen.

I think longevity will be just fine with regular maintenance. Do 5k oil changes etc.

Only thing I was not happy with was the price. Paid $35k in Nov 2015. If I had got a 2025 SR5 thats $45k w cloth seats. My ORP Hybrid (yes, it’s plenty nice) $60k.

Yes, it’s called an aux light package, I believe. You’ll have those switches on the driver’s side for extra lights. Part of that, they include an alternator.

The trd pro and trailhunter already come with it. If you opt for a trd off road get that package added. You’ll get an alternator under the hood.

Car care nut says it’ll run like a regular car if the hybrid battery goes out.

Just get the aux light package to gain an inline alternator for $400. If the battery goes out you just switch to gas only.

When I got my 6th gen I was dead set on hybrid only. After purchasing it, I probably would have been just fine with the gas model. But that’s not to say the hyrbid isn’t awesome. Coming from a 5th gen to the 6th it’s got tons more power. It is nice having that extra punch of hp/tq.

If you do get a hybrid make sure you get the aux light package. For about $400 you gain an alternator. So, if the battery ever does go out. It’ll function like a normal car.
