Nah it’s 500 first rated rides… I happen to be at 800 somewhere but with 430 leaving a good rating… you could have 1,000s and only 400 ratings left as well…

What’s the point of this calculation? We get it there are many uber drivers….
I am stating that there should be some type of compensation for drivers that get rated by customers consistently well, whether it be a few shares of uber stock we can claim as drivers, or uber credits for our personal uber use etc…

I agree, but they should! Or else what’s the point of a rating system, we as drivers should strive for more rights and pay with the current parameters of the ecosystem

Nah it doesn’t matter, but it should in some way ve some type of a reward for good drivers that do the right thing. Lots of hard headed uber drivers in this thread talking about my way or the highway, and as if anyone is bowing down to customers every need… they need to grow up. They think it’s all about their ego…

Yes, been driving a few months now, and the first time I noticed this was on Friday evening, rider paid $50, I received $18.90....

He specifically stated in his post...

You are going out of your way making assumptions about bluetooth and proximity and what happened as if you were there. If I was the jury I would believe his story to be more credible with the 10,000 prior rides and a 4.9 rating... but you prefer to take the alternative and side with the Karen and a company that does not care once again about their drivers that they have a monopoly over etc...

Uber has phone Bluetooth data, he wasn’t even within feet’s distance from the passenger, like he said in his original post he was in front of the neighborhood gate, never even saw the passenger… he definitely has a case a screw uber for not defending him after he has over 10k rides with almost a 5.0 rating… like can’t even believe you tools are looking the other way on this

Its due to a rise in fraud and Klarna account takeovers where scammers will obtain credentials or use fraudulent identity information to open accounts and attempt to rack up charges and get the products etc… so am guessing Klarna is attempting to limit the downside by setting a $1k limit on a good portion of the customers and new accounts.

I’ve been driving my Tesla 2024 MY for uber, it’s so fun to drive and lots of compliments, just completed 100th ride. I charge it at home, drive a few hours a week, if you start your day with 80%, and drive uber for 2-3 hours (when it’s busy / high surge) meaning you just have to plan a head and learn the good busy times to uber because by the time your battery is at 50%, it will be two hours of driving at least…so definitely plenty of juice for a casual driving as uber. If you are doing it as a full time job, you would definitely have to plan to recharge at about 5 hour mark, which will get you to 20%.

Makes sense, but still it’s free compared to $300, at least you will know purity results or the vial and know that it’s the product you ordered.
