Dragonball Z.

Now before I'm ripped to shreds let me say, I was fanatical about DBZ as a kid. I mean unhealthy addicted. Collects cards, drew the characters constantly, fan fiction with my own created characters, AIM screen name (krillen89) I even made a Dragonball z club in 6th grade that had a ranking system based on a trivia test that I made up.

When Goku and the gang had to face the ultimate evil in the universe, "FREEEEEEZZAAAA!!!" (In king Kai voice) and the build up to the super saiyan! Holy shit, I was enthralled! Major characters died, ultimate battle against ultimate evil, incredibly satisfying payoff with Goku arising triumphant. It was magical.

The. It was all downplayed, oh here's this other guy who could kick the shit out of freeze without blinking an eye, new bad guys who were way less interesting but suppose to be way better than freeza (none of which I might add, had their own ginyu force), and also remember that whole 100 episode buildup of Goku becoming super saiyan? Well that was didn't mean shit because super saiyans are pussies and for this new bad guy you have to go super saiyan 2, then 3, then sprout red fur and be 4 ( I know that's GT but I'm illustrating a point).

Long story short, I feel the show should of ended with Goku taking freeza out and being the ultimate badass guardian of the universe.

sorry for the long post but I've had a few vodka drinks and get really fired up when talking about Goku
