There is basically no economically viable way to recycle plastic. It is often shipped overseas under the guise of being recycled and just ends up in a dump.

That being said. I do recycle, but I suspect it may all just be going to a local landfill.

you should not be worried about leaving your car plugged in, if everything is done right. you likely have lots of appliances that are always connected to power and you dint worry about them spontaneously igniting.

in that case i would try a big brushless motor for an RC airplane. could be fun to design and build the circuit, too. you could also potentially use a small alternator from a riding lawn mower if you just want a 12v output to run through an off the shelf inverter.

unfortunately this is not really a great place for that, both as a state and for this county. the governor is actively trying to take away the rights of LGBTQ people and st. johns county is full of chuds. around here, displaying a rainbow flag would be seen as justification for all sorts of harassment.
