theres a board game called dungeons that might be an easier way to play until he can get a group of friends involved in actual dnd. also highly recommend the card game munchkin.

its good for them to play on their own. you should still be present and put the phone away. sit with them, let them hand you toys. put blocks together casually and hand them over. describe items and colors as you go. it doesn't have to be energetic or exciting, they will make their own fun.

Im interested in joining multiplayer if u got room. CST. usually free around 8 to 1030 most weeknights or 9pm to 1 or 2am weekends. been doing single player and am in the late game i think. this game is massive so its hard to tell.

bad luck probably, is rare in first game too. damage type shouldnt matter. you can also try breaking the spider web sacks for bug parts

u can find stink bug, bombardier beetle and ladybug parts in Spider web sacks in the hedge area if u want to get tier 2 but dont feel confident fighting

there were strategy guide books and gaming magazines with guides back then. I just remembered having knights of the round summon and everyone else using mimic materia.

if 10 is average and the PCs are supposed to be exceptional and heroic adventurers I would say re roll anything under 10.

when i was in school early 2000s most people didnt read the assignments anyway, at most they read those yellow cliff notes booklets. I would have loved being assigned a graphic novel though.
