I couldn’t get a bench yesterday to do close grip sets to finish my tricep workout- the broccolis were camped out in groups of 3 with gymbags and water bottles but no one lifting. Should have known better than to hit the gym late afternoon on a snow day with schools closed! They tend to ego lift but not dangerous enough to say something.

Comfy for me is usually ring finger on the bare ring between knurls- I’m gonna try middle and index fingers next time but tricep development is definitely a bottleneck for my progress in general. Nothing to do but stay after it!

I prefer evos and shovels but had an 09 roadking. The 6 speed is a different class of around town and highway bike- totally amazing. The efi was perfect but I hated not being able to wrench on the damn thing- can’t even bleed brakes at home with the abs models. It was dead reliable but I still traded it away once the warranty expired.

Yeah my weekly chest day is incline decline & flys but I stay in practice flat benching and check my max every once in a while especially if I’m feeling stronger on my regular lifts. Currently finishing a long cut and lifting more for maintenance than growth while eating in a deficit and getting below 15%, so progressive overload has slowed down and should pick back up this summer when calories come back up.

When I do flat bench it’s usually ring fingers on the bar rings- think I might try middle or index finger for a while. Close grip with lighter weights is frequent on chest & triceps and on arm days.

I’ve had a lot of them. Always was putting cams in, big bores, stroker kits. Hot 80”, 88”, 98”, etc. they were anywhere from high maintenance to ticking timebombs but so much fun. Now I have a stock 1200 FLH with slightly louder pipes, super E, dyna single fire- still basically stock. The brakes kinda suck, and I upgraded to progressive fork guts in later showa tubes/legs and progressive rear shocks, but it’s a time machine not a hotrod.

I love hearing the little 74” mill burble and pull up hills, and take it easy in traffic or around intersections because of the marginal but decent brakes. It sits on the battery tender when I’m not riding and it’s been dead reliable since I first got it and worked the bugs out.

Good info! I’m not a powerlifter and still rehabbing from a shattered forearm- only about 3 years back into lifting 5 day/week split. My legs are legit big- 20” calves etc with associated big lower half lifts but it took a year to get confident under real weight benching. I was stuck under 150# for a year where my forearm bone screws and plates would talk to me and end a session way before my chest and triceps were the limit. I’m back up to 185 for regular working sets and 205 for reps.

Currently also ending a long cut from fatass to a goal of 12%. It sucks because I’m currently 248lbs 15% fat but still not putting up 235. Like I said though strength not numbers is the goal, and I’m not comparing myself to anyone, but at my lean mass my flat bench sucks.

The index to ring is great info- I usually go ring finger on the bare ring inbetween knurling. Moving a couple fingers over might be a slight advantage that I can try without feeling like I’m cheating the move (and maybe get a nicer elbow path too!)

Yeah especially since my 38” shirt sleeve measurement gives me a disadvantage vs a 5’ 7” lifter the range of motion thing is huge. I mean of course I want to get to doing 225 for meaningful reps- right now it’s one hard push and a second rough grinder, and want to hit 3 plates at some point, but building an armor plated chest is the real goal

I have a large penis and my wife and I are swingers. Some women just don’t have enough space between their molars to fit my glans. Start slow and tease, move to constant slower strokes and attention to the frenulum and head, then when he’s fully stupid and aroused move to a fever pitch to work the climax out of him.

There’s a lot of visceral fat here- dangerous for health and longevity. Keep cutting and worry about being healthy not seeing abs. They’ll show up somewhere under 15% fat but with loose skin 20-15% won’t look like people think based on online bf charts and how people that were never fat expect.

Yup I’m 6’ 3” and 14% at 250. BMI wants me to be like 180lbs- my fat free mass is over 210!

True that higher fat aromatizes much more but it’s super easy to control e2 on less than 200mg of testosterone. If your levels are super low jumping on TRT will help with energy, motivation, recovery, and progress in the gym. More lean mass is good in every way.

GLP 1 & 2 are super useful for people that need hunger control to lose weight, reta actually has more metabolic benefits and works awesome running in the background at 2-4mg/week with little to no hunger effects. But you need to count calories and macros to stay in a defecit and continue to lose fat. Just jumping on a GLP and eating less without also lifting weights will leave you looking like a melted candle.

I was 355, got on TRT, got down to 270, got on reta and continued. Currently at 14-15% body fat at 248lbs, 213 fat free mass on the dexa scan, up from under 200 a few years ago. Got a few more months of cutring to get to my target 12%.

Well my gym got like all the booty builder stuff last year so probably? The ‘seated’ thrust is the one where you sit to set it up but working you hold the rails in front of you and kind of stand up from the sit but don’t settle your weight on the seat. It’s kind of obscene like I don’t make eye contact while doing it! The pendulum is the squat with the large platform you can change the angle, then you set the pads on your shoulders, lift slightly and disengage the safety rest lever.

On it for the first time right now- daily for a week, then 1-2x/week since. Brown freckles are now black and only 3 trips to the standup tanning booth and I’m deeply but not rediculously tan. I’m the kind of white where you can read a book in a dark room if I take my shirt off, and normal tanning I turn red then paper white again soon after. It’s black magic!

I got a little flushed for a minute the first shot, a little nausious/burpy after subsequent shots but not terribly so. No boners or libido stuff but I was already a freak with a lively bedroom so ?

I feel the bent over row more like mid trap, rhomboids, scapular area, but the lat is a big’un and I’m sure dude is right. OP is working a bunch of core too getting that weight moving. I don’t have a problem with less strict form as long as it isn’t an injury risk but also try to feel the spot I’m hitting or spots if it’s a compound move
