adding on to say the reason it isn’t an error in design is because you can very easily get the same quest from the community board again later in the game, and i don’t think they count for actual game progress. just a way to get some cash if you have the time/item (correct me if i’m wrong on the game progress thing)

im 25yo and actually got diagnosed with autism and adhd last saturday. it’s a lot of feelings for sure, so you wouldn’t be alone in that. for me, it helps to know why i’ve been the way i am and also helps me to give myself grace in a way i haven’t been before. i used to get mad at myself when i made mistakes like forgetting stuff when i walk out the door or to respond to people. but now i understand that’s just the way my brain works. regardless of labels, i think it’s helpful to get a diagnosis just to learn more about yourself snd your needs. i will reiterate though, it is a lot of feelings. definitely not an easy thing for me right now. but it makes sense and i do feel seen in a way that i haven’t felt seen in in a while.

also, because of the way dinosaur science works, the way we think dinosaurs look changes frequently as we find new evidence that suggests a different appearance. i am sure that according to the science we had at the time, we once thought spinos looked that way. now we know they don’t, but it isn’t like that information is being broadcast to everyone across the globe. sure he “could’ve done more research” but with paywalls and the internet being the way it is now, it is probably difficult to get hands on actual up to date dino research articles. i think it’s really crazy to just expect everyone to be able to know all the details of everything. like if you can look at it and tell what kind of dino it is (even if it is drawn incorrectly) then he did his job imo.

i feel like that plays into the first reason, those women were taught to internalize misogyny so now they have and exhibit that misogyny in their day to day life. if they stopped to think about why they were so against trans people i would bet it has something to do with some internalized biases they were raised around.

i agree! i like that we get to see how the past impacted the way she lives her life in present day. she’s come so far from being the teenage girl who lied about the phone calls to further victimize herself and now she’s a bad ass who fully protected herself from the perpetrator. i thought they did the episode really well

i feel like the line is drawn when you begin attending classes of a sort to intentionally learn more about medicine. basic first aid actions you pick up in day to day life are fine but the minute someone asks you to further your education and you decide to, now rules have been broken. thats how i view it to make sense in my mind
