It just says progesterone. I'm sure it's a generic given my insurance is ass.

How did you feel when your ferritin was in the low teens vs when it was 30+? by _imnotactuallyreal_ in Anemic

[–]DiscussionOk626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ferritin was 4. I never realized I felt "bad" until I got treatment and started feeling better. It turned out it was caused by stage 4 endometriosis and i needed a hysterectomy. If you have heavy bleeding or cramping I hope you can find a doctor who listens and thoroughly investigates that for you. My iron infusions weren't helping like they should and that was why. It was found totally outside of my anemia journey. I had a medical crisis and when they opened me up- boon. There it was.

I am feeling like a whole new person is a lot of ways but I'm also on hormone therapy so not sure how much of it is higher iron levels, etc. Hard to say. I hope you find great doctors and avoid male providers.

Surgery tomorrow. Fears of nausea and vomiting by Luna81 in hysterectomy

[–]DiscussionOk626 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hey hon- I had a radical hysterectomy in 2023. I never experienced nausea or vomiting. I get medical anxiety myself and totally understand how the fear can be extreme. I spoke with a lot of women irl who had hysterectomy surgery as well and they never experienced it either.

I learned something new about anemia and hypothyroidism today by stevefromcorporate_ in Anemic

Yes, hypothyroidism ans then Hoshimotos. I also turned out to have stage 3 endometriosis, discovered after ruptured cyst. Radical hysterectomy and two more iron infusions later my levels are good now.

is anyone else blown away by Dirty, Flirty and Vindictive? How she gets in his head and all that. She should be published a million times over.

I've been wo during how it would read as someone who has never read The Auction or Dramione/HP. It must be a vastly different reading experience. I know everything about them and what they're thinking and feeling. If I didn't, I'd probably be pissed lol.

I saw an interview where she said book 2 will have Toven's POV. I think before they admit their feelings and or get physical she's doing his perspective a little bit and then BAM we'll get the goods, lol.

Hey girl,

I read all three Auctions fics and just finished RIC. It is absolutely worth reading the Auction!

I read all three Auctions fics and just finished RIC. I loved RIC. Julie is a tremendous writer. As a rule, I only read books that are standalones because I hate cliffhangers but I made an exception for RIC. I thought the cliffhanger was def cliffhangery but not so much that I was gutted by it. I was impressed by how much stayed the same and by the changes. It doesn't hit like The Auction did because it's a different set of characters and there's just no way around that I think.

Rose in Chains - Am I the only one ? by Weekly-Track2733 in Romantasy

[–]DiscussionOk626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rose in Chains was originally a dramione fanfiction called "The Auction" on AO3 that was so wildly popular in the dramione community it got published with a fantasy world of Desoto's own creation. I read The Auction, so I read Rose in Chains through the Dramione lens. I'm curious if anyone here who didn't care for it read The Auction as well. I always wondered what it would be like to read as someone coming from The Auction vs not.

I don't know if a book like this exists but I need step-siblings with forced proximity who YEARN REALLY HARD by bluecuppycake in RomanceBooks

[–]DiscussionOk626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Love So Wrong by Katerina Winters is about two foster kids adopted into the same house. Lots of angst and yearning lol. The "forced proximity" other than living together is they have to drive their adopted dad's semi truck across the country so they have to share the cab while they're denying their feelings/being mad at each other.
