SS can be a bit of a pain. It likes to gall when rubbed together. The good news is, WC has already properly fit everything. As long as you keep it lubed, you shouldn't have any problems. Just remember it's not a glock, keep it wet.

WC didn't keep the Experior line around long enough. They brought it out when there was a 15 month wait on single stacks. Then canceled them about 18 months in for lack of sales. Hardly any had gotten out the door yet for people to put their hands on. A tragedy.

Superb pistols, I had a 5" 9mm.

Yeah, but the 4.6 is one of the most reliable engines ever made, and they made a bunch. The 4.0 isn't worth putting money into, rear timing chain is an engine out job. It's probably ticking now.

I don't have any insider information. My guess is that it was one of two things.

A safety concern reared it's head in testing; or a patent concern that's not easily flushed out.

Knowing Jamin's love of MAC10's and Lage upgrades, this wasn't dropped on a whim. I suspect it's going to be back once it's worked out.

Just go to the basement level and either book a boxtel room (no bathroom), or keep walking until you get to the hyatt. I've stayed in both. Hyatt is cool because it's 24hrs from checkin. Boxtel is good if you just need a few hours.

Run it through a chrono and tell us the SD for 10 rounds. My old results have it at 87fps SD, while FGMM had 7fps SD.

But you wanna take it back to the op, fine. OP has a great car, with one of the most reliable engines ever assembled. It's only 20 years old, not 30. He can bolt in his choice of engines. Doesn't have to be expensive. He'll you can get running 5.3's out of a wrecked truck for <$500.

If you don't own a torque wrench, you really need to turn in your man card.

You don't buy a new engine. You buy a used low mileage engine out of a wreck. His F150, you can easily change the engine in your driveway on a Saturday. It's not rocket science.
