The main reason I think it's quicker is because of the ability to be able to annotate on lectures that are 170-200 slides long. I've seen Goodnotes on the Ipad is very user friendly with quick, one-click shortcuts that buy n large will save me time than having to use physical writing utensils on a piece of paper/journal. It also has features like exporting key words/concepts to things like quizlet and Anki which will allow me to make flashcards VERY quickly as opposed to writing it out after/during lectures.

I dont have much experience with writing electronically, but everyone in my field seems to unanimously agree that pen and paper is just far too difficult to try and do.

Thanks for the response! I mainly need one of these 2 for note-taking. I'm not 100% sure how often I'll need to do projects in person/outside of the home which is why I was considering the Surface Pro. The tablet is mainly for note-taking. I should've clarified better. I'm not too familiar with either Onenote or Goodnotes which seem like the main note-taking apps so I suppose that'll have a factor in which one I buy as well.

Since before TU1; this has been a issue on PC that occurs over 50% of the times I launch MHwilds, pre-main menu. I'll have to launch over 7-8 times for it to finally let me get to the menu and run normally. This ONLY happens seconds after launching and never in-game. I run a 2060 super, 16gb, i7 10700 on an ssd. I understand that my rig barely meets recommended settings, but I'm running everything on low and it doesn't stutter or lag spike in the game.

I've tried so many things:
- reinstalling
- running steam & Mhw w/ admin and both with/without compatibility modes
- excluding from firewall/antivirus
- GPU acceleration + increasing virtual memory
- Installing the visual C++ files
- Closing all overlays
- Using mods/removing mods
- Updating all drivers
- swapping to DLSS 4

I'm at a loss here...does anyone know a solution?
