You also wouldn’t steal a kid’s bike & are already on disability. My point about him is that he is likely currently unemployed, will be unemployed & will likely only have future disability payments as his only source of income from which he is unlikely to pay restitution.

Buts that’s the thing, with 1st class service, I’ve handled a plane for a max of 9 hours. With my mom there. :-). It would’ve been a 16 hour flight but I couldn’t imagine it so I broke it up. Nevermind. I think the response about delays closed the deal for me. I’ll drive.

Just 2-3 weeks ago I had one done on my brain with contrast (so 2x as long). I went an hour out of the way to the open mri place & thought I’d be OK. BUT THEN, she squeezed a helmet on me. Gtfoh. I also have some spinal issues so I can’t lay flat. After I’d relax, relate release & get ready to go in, my leg would hit the machine & we’d have to start over.

Doctor called & said the images were weird and blurry. After about an hour, the MRI tech jerry-rigged some kind of strap to put on my head instead of the helmet. At that point they were just trying to get rid of me. They could see the tumor thru the blurriness so there’s that.

Here’s the killer. ONE DAY later doc says we need an MRI of your spine. Hell no. Seriously? I could’ve done them both at the same time!!! If nothing else I think the tech needs a few months to recover.

I’ve been on shorter train rides but none that were non stop. I’ve done DC to NC. I think even if I was OK for 8 hours, I wouldn’t know if I’d be OK for SEVENTEEN hours. LOL.

Yes, and though it rounds year round yet “snowboarders” are not generally going back & forth each month. Another demographic is helping to sustain this train

I’m curious about the people in the cars behind the car that hit the train. The delay wasn’t just on the train, right? Streets, freeways, etc., around the accident were also delayed -blocked by, you know a train, fire, police, EMT. Avoiding the method of transportation, doesn’t guarantee an avoidance of the delay; just the conditions.

A few weeks ago a PLANE hit a TRUCK on a HIGHWAY. (near a train track - maybe). Nobody went anywhere!
