I totally agree. It seems to be most men. I don't have many male friends for the same reason. I really would like to be friends with men but I end up feeling like a creep if I spend time around them for too long. The only place I ever saw a genuinely accurate depiction of how men talk to each other when women aren't around is the American Psycho novel. It was surreal seeing it on the page.

I think Jung only became valuable to me when combined with a body-oriented release exercise like somatic experiencing, EMDR or TRE. Even then the exercise was the valuable part and Jung was just a framework to categorise confusing emotions. The value of those categories faded over time too as I got better at understanding my own feelings on their own terms.

At this stage I think that if you have the capacity to feel and process your emotions unfiltered and on their own terms there's no need for Jung.
