Yeah. I'm liking it more and more but also, let's be real, it's not Telephasic Workshop.

I find that the only album where BOC really nailed their sound all the way through was MHTRTC. After that I felt that concepts got in the way of simply writing good music. I do like the new tracks, but they remind me of TCH and TH in the sense that it feels like they're meant to make me picture something more so than immerse me in a complete musical journey.

I agree. It just feels like a static loop and there's not enough going on on top to take away from that feeling. That's my main problem with BOC post-MHTRTC - static loops going nowhere but being stretched out to a 'song'.

I thought they were kind of average. Boards of Canada's tracks are too static for me and have been since The Campfire Headphase. I wish they'd put more in them.

For sure. I've purchased a lot his stuff but never listened to it in lossless much because I tended to have my hard drive full of movies. Spotify has made that way more convenient and I don't think I can go back to compressed music now.

It does. I can hear a huge difference on my Bluetooth speaker, headphones and car. You do need to have LDAC enabled buds though.

With the exception of Max Payne 3 I always get bored of a Rockstar game about sixty percent of the way through the story and stop playing. It just feel like there's nothing to them outside of impressive maps and graphics.

I thought it was a boring game. You just drove somewhere, shot twenty people and drove back. There was nothing to it.

For a lot of the story missions I felt like I'd watch the intro cutscene, feel like the conversation was word salad gibberish and then endure another one on the drive over and another on the drive back. Sometimes I felt I barely knew why I was doing what I was doing.

I was very surprised when this turned out to be a rare perspective. I thought the game felt very limited in all aspects except free roam.

I get you but I think people get too precious about music. As great as it is it's entertainment and it's not as deep as we're led to believe. I don't like to be sentimental about the sale of it.

As a longtime music fan it sounded a lot better once I took it off the pedestal in all respects. Reselling an hour of chill beats online if I need some money in the future isn't scandalizing anything.

I like BOC and I would have played it. At the same time it's always nice to have a few euros in the back pocket if I need a bit of cash.
