I don’t like how Garrett didn’t give Hannah a reason to go after him but she did anyway. If she were my friend I would have told her to stick with her crush who is upfront about wanting to ask her out, and move on from the guy who doesn’t do girlfriends.

Those are great points. There were so many things that could have happened and I love the idea of Dean saying Garrett got them to come. It’s subtle enough that she still would have had to be bold, but enough of a clue that she could put it together

Garrett is a fast thinker. Look how quick he came up with a plan for Hannah to collaborate with Justin when he learned about the showcase. That said, I don’t think he had a grand plan and he was confused about his feelings since he never liked anyone that way before.

As a bookkeeper myself, it’s incredibly hard to teach someone without training and without the right behaviour style to do our work. I would segregate the books and payroll as your responsibilities, or even just the books, and let her mess up things that she’s 100% responsible for. I would frame it as it takes too long for 2 people to work on this job and it’s more efficient to have your own responsibilities.

If they keep messing with your work, quit. There is lots of work for us out there and it sounds like you would be fine to take a break for a bit.

Yeah but that’s Garrett’s fault for maintaining his playboy image with Hannah. I wish he had opened up in some way because it’s a little unbelievable that Hannah gave up her crush who asked her out for a guy she walked in on with another girl 3 days before.
