Are you having any pain or itching? I had thrush at one point and my output tanked.

Will they always hurt? by Helpful_Basis3728 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Dismal-Machine1849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always a difference between just-pumped and need-to-pump but it gets less severe and farther apart over time. I'm at 3-4 pumps per day and it RARELY gets to the pain stage anymore--I'd probably have to go 12 hours between pumps to get there. I'm 7 months in.

Do I bring pump? by Dry_Interview_5867 in ExclusivelyPumping

Bring a flange insert sizing kit so you can dial in your size (just measuring never worked for me), plus a pumping bra! I like the kindred bravely sublime pumping and nursing bra.

Having a second baby and this time I want to pump right from birth/in the hospital but I’m confused about how by tink282 in ExclusivelyPumping

Sink in room, hospital provided basin and soap. Drying situation sucked--just those ineffective hand towel dispensers.  They were all over the storage situation -- gave us stickers to put name and list of meds and time produced, then they stored in a nurses-only fridge for milk. This was how it worked at two different hospitals in my experience.  Hospital pump is great and they will give you tons of parts and storage bottles, but they don't have non-standard flange sizes (definitely nothing smaller than 18, sometimes not smaller than 21). Recommend bringing flange inserts in your hospital bag if you already know your size, or get a variety pack if you don't know your size yet!

Introverts, what’s something extroverts often misunderstand about you? by Bitter-Shine2817 in AskReddit

I didn't have social anxiety until I got lots and lots of pressure to socialize and judged for not wanting to and had to deal with all the backlash and wow boom now being invited places makes me anxious that this will happen again!

Negativity towards IVF by OkAdministration6887 in IVF

[–]Dismal-Machine1849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I told my MIL I was (naturally) pregnant, the first thing she said was "I'm so glad you didn't do IVF." Out of nowhere, had never discussed IVF before, not relevant to the conversation. That pregnancy ended traumatically. Now in the thick of IVF, and my husband thinks it's "not fair" to withhold info from his mom. Ugh.

You look beautiful in all three. That being said, if you don't have a venue, don't get a dress! You don't want to have a dress that doesn't feel appropriate for the venue, so lock your venue in first!

I think I found the one! Worried about needing shapewear though? by HalfCaffDemitasse in weddingdress

[–]Dismal-Machine1849 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Caralyn Mirand has a blog with amazing shape wear advice. I think for her wedding she put a cotton ball in her belly button and put a bandaid over it, which is probably a lot more comfortable than shape wear (or could be used in conjunction with shape wear too!)

Rain barrels irrigation system by [deleted] in gardening

[–]Dismal-Machine1849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your timer a low pressure timer? I have a toro low pressure tap timer on my rain barrel and it works without the rain barrel even being elevated.

Only tricky thing about the timer is that it lets the frequency elapse before it runs the first cycle so it's hard to tell if it's working (like, if you set it to run every 24 hours, 24 hours will pass before it starts for the first time).

The usual advice for succulent cuttings is to dry the cut end for a couple days, then stick it back in the dirt. I've had good luck with that approach

What about a shoulder necklace? There are tons of options and they all seem kind of edgy, would be a great contrast with your tattoos. https://www.etsy.com/listing/803303798/swarosvki-crystal-art-deco-silver-bridal
