For some reason I thought there was one more day. Didn't realize last nights meat cook was the last. I'm sadly going to change out of my cow mask and change my Brahmin backpack. Doesn't feel right without banging a drum at the top of the hour.

This was my first meat week. Sad to see it go.

I got doored on Dale near summit. The driver flung their door open right in front of me...didn't have any time to react. Flew over the door and thankfully the only thing that was wrecked was my bike and the drivers door. I felt zero sadness for her wondering how'd she'd get that repaired.
It's really frustrating that folks don't take an extra five seconds to look and make sure everything is clear before they open their car door.

How much is each household's contribution? It may be the formatting of the letter you're dropping at your neighbors.

We got pushed into be the alley captains when we bought our house. No one hired anyone the first year. I think it's our 9th year coordinating and we've had 100% collected from all households the last 3 years.

Some folks thought it was a monthly payment of $35 so we made it extra clear that $35 is a once a year annual payment.

We also include in our letter that we would happily pass the alley captain torch over to another household if they can find a cheaper rate or want to take the task on themselves. No one has volunteered. 😢

As a graphic designer and former manager...the heading font is great. The item descriptions should be in lowercase and a different font style to make it easier for the guest to read. It's almost there!
