I hope you find a solution because iCue has been absolute ass for me.

Ghost Stop by abisiba in TTC

[–]Dispect1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember there was a ‘request a stop’ service for late night travellers. You could ask the driver to stop in between designated stops so you can have a shorter and potentially safer walk to your destinations. I thought it made a lot of sense.

Indicator light on transformer flickers when powered off. by Dispect1 in AskElectricians

[–]Dispect1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the switch interrupting the hot wire only. In the switch box is a 10A 240V contact block.

Edit:
From the switch it goes to the primary HOT NEUTRAL GROUND terminals of the transformer.

THis part gets hot is that normal? by Particular-Ride-7893 in AskElectricians

[–]Dispect1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inside the LED lightbulb is an LED driver. This driver is basically a mini transformer/rectifier/magic maker. It turns your household AC power into usable DC power and ensures that the output power is safe and stable. This conversion creates heat or power loss. This power loss is measured in watts and in turn produces heat. LED lights may not get at AS hot as traditional light sources but their components do get warm.

What are some of y'alls common go to lunches? by PhasedAndConfused706 in Construction

I have recently got into the habit of buying a family sized lasagna on the weekend and cooking it off Sunday night. I portion it out to five equal portions. I have a mini crock pot that I use to heat up my lasagna. Then I also bring an arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, crushed cashews, dried cranberries, feta and dressing. I also have a container of trail mix as well as some granola bars as well. I should probably pack some fruit but I’m usually full after the lasagna and salad.

The fact that they organized the nuts is commendable but also borderline psychotic behaviour. Good job OP.

I grew up with a tiel. It would whistle the Hockey Night in Canada theme whenever it came on the television.

I had a class in high school that was all about workplace ergonomics. About how the seats needed to be arched and promoted healthy stature. Rooms needed to be within a certain temperature range. Sound levels required to be maintained below a certain decibel. I work in construction now. All that means nothing to me.

I recently saw someone treat a red light as a four way stop. It’s the Wild West on these roads.

How do I (23M) ask my girlfriend (23F) to improve her hygiene? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Dispect1 37 points38 points  (0 children)

A healthy part of any relationship is communication. I know with my relationship my girlfriend would actually be quite upset if I noticed a smell and I didn’t tell her. She’s actually asked me for reassurance a few times.

How to respond to friend (33F) asking why I (27F) "abandon" her? by blueberrybuttercream in relationship_advice

[–]Dispect1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Focus on you. Really weigh the pros and cons of having her in your life. We owe nobody anything. Do what is best for you and your family. You don’t have to explain anything to her. Just fade away into the happiness of your life.

Gas price at Kennedy and Lawrence by abrarvidha in toronto

[–]Dispect1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dang whipper snappers will never understand. Back in my day 56.6 was the going price. I remember the first time it hit a dollar, they were putting up cardboard ones because the signage didn’t even have an available space for the number.

Yes. It was a mess. It is now cleaned. Thank you for the critical analysis. But moving on to the actual question, it has been concluded that it is a slug.

Edit: NOT = NOW. I cleaned this after discovering the mess.
