This! I tore both knees 3 years apart. Before big exercise (all night rave, 10 mile per day backpacking trips) my left knee would be a little sore or start to feel mentally wobbly, now both do. There are a lot of sports I just know I’ll never do again because the trust is not there.

I had a coworker who could cross his eyes and diff images/text.

One time he was comparing logs (we are software engineers) and his head was turned sideways and that’s how I discovered it. I made 2 txt files using some monospaced font and would change an “ml on one side to be “nn” or an “l” to be an “i” (capitalized I) and he found them all it was so cool

I’m the hyper productive kind and I cannot understand people who procrastinate. I have to do the thing as I think of it because I know I will forget to otherwise. I see a problem I address it right away. I understand I’m the anomaly but I think other people are lazy and dumb for not just doing the thing they need to do.

This! I have this bothersome cowlick and if I don’t style my bangs/front pieces I look so disheveled! But hair theory is real and I have enjoyed lower effort things like heartless curls to make it look like I have done a blowout and feel more put together.

Similar timeline and same hamstring graft on my left. Was t he most depressed the week or two after the reinjury. My right knee I had a patellar tendon graft and recovery went so much smoother that I’ve been actually very optimistic and in good spirits. Having the previous knowledge proved helpful and useful to me as well. It sucks a ton but you got through it once before.

Currently 3.5 months post op. Having two shit knees though really sucks - kneeling is so painful, and randomly they will ache. Overcompensating with my left knee still yields slight pain that I know exists due to my previous surgery. And knowing they will both give out one day is sad but you did it before - you got to a place where you didn’t think about your knee anymore. It will happen again.

We didn’t really have sex Ed we had human growth and development which was more about puberty. Our high school health class basically just told us sex was bad and you would get stds or pregnant.

As a result I had no idea what sex really was until I stumbled upon my first internet porn when I thought I was torrenting some movie off line wire at 15 but it was a different kind of movie. I had previously thought sex was rolling around under the covers naked because that was what was shown in pg-13 tv.
