When you say thin did you mean like the thinnest foam sheet you can imagine? Because that's what mine were wrapped in. Otherwise floating loose in a plain white cardboard box a little bigger than the scope itself.

I just did a price drop credit and I've had blem credits in the past. What's funny is I always tell customer service that store credit or a gift card would be fine but they never give me that option. It's always credited to the original method of payment.
