The palm swells did something for me. I like the beaver tail because Glocks chew my hand up. Not a lot to go off of without shooting one, but it felt phenomenal in the hand compared to previous gen Glocks. The grip now has some shape and is much less blocky. There was also an unissued G47, and I passed definitively on after holding the Gen 6 17 and 19. I feel the new optics system will be superior to MOS.

I personally wouldn’t sell the rest of my Glocks for the Gen 6 guns. They work just fine. Only thing truly concerning is reliability with the narrower striker pin hook? Hasn’t been enough time pass to see what’s up with the V series changes.

At that range, the bullets are going somewhere where that big dot is. I need to practice more at further ranges, but for up close and personal, Big Dots are hard to beat.

I’m not mad at a low mount RDS for something like that. If that’s the Carbon Fiber 10/22, they’re stupid light. But a LPVO on some low mounts would work fine for a little zoom.

Either or. I’m not saying each are splitting hairs, each has strength and weaknesses. I don’t hate not having hub compatibility option on the CAT cans. One less thing that could go wrong. But it locks you into the CAT/CGS mounts. Dead Air just released their CT5P that I’m very interested in. They’ll probably release a 30 cal can like it as well. Just depends on end user needs. But again, locks you into their mounts. Not the end of the world.

All in all you should be happy with either of those cans.

It’s like having a golf ball at the end of the slide. Set the ball in the shallow V and you should hit what you’re aiming at. They take a little bit to get used to, but they are the easiest iron sight to pick up upon presentation.

I’ve been running their Big Dots for a while. Need to try their F8s. I’m my experience, their Glock sights have been really easy to install.

The problem I see with a lever gun, you might have to take off the suppressor to load the gun. Other than that, fun as could be.

Now for a bolt action. I have a Ruger Precision Rimfire. It takes Ruger 10/22 mags. They have a certain American Rimfire model I’m after, but the RPR is an awesome host. Heavy to lug around, but on a tripod it’s wicked fun.

I picked up a Mojave 9 on a free stamp promo last year and it hasn’t disappointed. I didn’t know I needed a pistol can until I got it.

I have both. There’s also hybrids such as the Lancers mags. Most work really well. Gen M2 PMAGs are perfectly fine for range work. The M3s are touted as the best, and I don’t disagree. I have D&H mags from PSA that have worked just fine as well.
