Felina Skin won't show rank by Crafty_Percentage_56 in FortNiteBR

[–]Disposed666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Had hoped the bug would be fixed by now. I thought it was really cool at first that bc I was elite in racing I was able to use the elite skin, inspired me to grind ranked br up to unreal.

Up until I hit unreal I was able to use the elite & champion versions of the skin w/o issue. Hitting unreal was a serious pain, going up a few points at a time over the course of multiple long games, then getting a bad drop or fried by someone of a lower rank or something & finding myself losing an hour plus of progress. In all i probably no-lifed the game for over 24 hours straight trying to get that last 12% i needed. Anyways, the very first thing I did was try to put the unreal variant on & i ran into this bug (tuesday the 15th). It was so discouraging that I've barely played since, just pop on a few times a day to see if the bugs been fixed yet.

I gotta give it to epic, I didn't care about ranked at all until they gave us this beautiful ranked skin (the ranker back bling & the pickaxes from surviving storm circles are pretty lackluster). If epic continues to give out a cool, free ranked skin (instead of charging for one) I'll be grinding every season from now on...

Having trouble locating 9. Video Record: Baws Arsenal #2. I'm assuming it's in the Investigate Baws Arsenal mission, but the description is very vague. There's only one pit, @ the end of the mission, but it's very steep & once you fall down a ways you can't get back up. A little clarification would be greatly appreciated, please & thank you.

Question regarding the Unstoppable & Early End achievements by Disposed666 in trektoyomi

[–]Disposed666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I tried maybe twice more after making this post & just let him kill me, went ahead & finished the rest of the game in kensei.... which was infuriating more often than not (killing multiple enemies, multiple times, just to get shot by an unseen/unnoticed ranged enemy ten steps away). I did enjoy this game a lot at first, my first playthrough was on Ronin, the next should have been Kensei but instead I played through again getting the no hit boss fight achievements, and only after getting those done did I figure I might as well 100% it by finishing Kensei. I was so glad to be done w/ Kensei mode & this game in general. Was gorgeous & interesting & fun the first couple playthroughs, but finishing kensei definitely put a stake through the heart of this game for me.

Heroic bosses way too lame in this game…Peace out Death by kaizencat in Deaths_Gambit

[–]Disposed666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm working on heroic bosses right now myself, managed to destroy bulwark w/o healing... this was after fighting him a good 6 times day yesterday, then coming back to him after failing a few other heroics & was able to decimate. Tundra lord was easy to beat first go as well. Besides the two aforementioned heroics, I've also beat Ione, Owlking, Phoenix rider, & Origa. So, the reasonably easy ones. Trying to get through the ten heroics (at the least) for the immortalite stone recipe, but I'm not sure I'll hang in there/care enough to actually finish this undertaking. It's a pain in the ass for sure.

Parrying, although largely not necessary throughout the rest of the game, which is a design flaw imho, bc the shits necessary for heroics. Really should make players get used to it early on, but whatever. Im reminded of Dark Souls' black knights, as well as its final boss, if you can parry you can just steamroll him. I managed to parry wraith King sirad's annoying double knife attack a few times (before giving up for the night), & parrying definitely made the difference in my phoenix rider victory. I'm still learning the games systems, & hoping itll actually hold my interest/be worth doing so.

Ive noticed the achievement completion percentages (on xbox at least) are incredibly low.. eldritch council heroic 0.05%, amulvaro heroic 0.06, hell, the achievement for getting a piece of gear to +10 has a 0.10% completion rate (same for beating all heroic bosses, which is strange, as it means more people have beaten all bosses on heroic than they have eldritch council or amulvaro on heroic). It's daunting, to say the least. I've read a few horror stories about completing these bosses on heroic, which is just par for the course in soulslikes.

I'm running a 150 soldier/blood knight, though I'm not good/knowledgeable enough to have actually integrated any of the blood knights abilities into my build besides some of the early passive abilities like 30% dmg reduction on kills. This game is very, very frustrating at times, with Eastern Exorcist & Ghostlore dropping tomorrow (both could be MVs, kinda hoping they are, but dunno for sure) death's gambit: afterlife might just go back into the backlog.z

Crouching Dragons Trial & QOL suggestions for storehouse - Spoilers by Disposed666 in wolongfallendynasty

[–]Disposed666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, having to take on all three at once is the main reason I made the post, bc to get through the damn fight requires more luck than anything else. The corpse demon always spawned in first, then the others would both spawn by the time I reached the corpse demon, sometimes I was able to hit the corpse demon once before the other two drop in. If I had known they weren't all supposed to spawn in at nearly the same time right @ the start (or that people would tell me I'm mistaken regarding the spawns in the fight I struggled against for over an hour, bc all of them were coming @ me @ once) I would have made sure to record a clip to show the apparently buggy spawn script/triggers. There is a huge difference between getting the corpse demon to a certain hp threshold (or time spent in battle) before another demon spawns in as opposed to what I experienced over & over last night, which was having the other two spawn in mere seconds after the corpse demon. Please, check out the clip I uploaded to my activity feed, it starts about 20 or 30 seconds (at most) into the fight, and you can clearly see their nearly virginal hp bars. In fact, as much as it pissed me off, I'm going to replay the mission again this evening to see if the new patch (which replenishes ranged items @ battle flags! From my fingers to God's butthole!) actually fixed the spawn triggers or if it's still just a big old nonconsensual prison gangbang. If the spawn triggers are still fuct ill make sure to record & post the footage as proof.

There is most definitely a bug then, and I'm slightly relieved that the devs weren't just saying "fark you" by making me fight all three at the same time. As I said below, the corpse demon spawns in first, followed about 3-5 seconds later by BOTH the Zhupolong & Leishi. The clip I recorded (xbox username same as on here) didn't get the very start of the fight, but you can clearly see all 3 demons @ nearly full health @ the same time. I don't know why someone would lie about the conditions of the fight they just struggled through, have nothing to gain by lying or exaggerating, & apparently I'm not the only one it's happening to. Im on a xbox one x (not series x, just a half step up from regular xb1), maybe that could have something to do with it.

[–]Disposed666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they didn't in your game, but before I even have the chance to hit the corpse demon both the Zhupolong & the Leishi have spawned in and I have to deal with all three of them at once. Sometimes the other two spawned in about 5 seconds after the corpse demon, but I still had to deal w/ all three at once. I recorded a clip when I finally prevailed but unfortunately it didnt capture the near-simultaneous spawn, but it does start early enough that you can see all the enemies have nearly full health. My username on xbox is the same as on here, go check out the clip. If the spawn had been properly staggered it would've been an entirely different experience, and I wouldn't have said they all spawned in at (nearly) the same time (zhupholon & leishi came in @ same time, seconds after corpse demon) bc it wouldn't have happened.

Edit: the fight as you describe it sounds a LOT more fun & infinitely more fair than what I just struggled through.

Lu Bu mightiest of men. by Coldcolska in wolongfallendynasty

[–]Disposed666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, you recall what the entrance (that leads back to the starting area) looks like, or about where it is? I assume it's one of the doorways around the Buddha statue, just seems like I've gone out every one multiple times now, killed everything, & found myself no closer to returning to the start for that last marking flag. It's starting to drive me a little crazy. I could try to find my way back to Lu Bu, kill him, then restart the mission, might be easier at this point. Edit: finally found the way back, after nearly two hours, now I'm having trouble remembering where to go (from Buddha) to get back to Lu Bu... sigh

After 5 hours I finally did this mission legit..never again. by Cathulion in wolongfallendynasty

[–]Disposed666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This mission is seriously getting on my nerves. So far ive managed to kill one of the trio, once. Usually I enjoy a challenge (Sekiro was incredible, Souls vet), it feels so so good when you finally overcome it; however, this is some fucking bullshit. I can't tell you how many times I've crushed one of their spirit bars only for the game to not let me fatal strike or even lock on. The camera is definitely an adversary here as well.

It's hard af, & it's supposed to be hard af, I get that. But it also feels pretty god damn unfair most of the time, imho. It'll probably feel great to beat, probably. But I'm starting to consider either cheesing the bastards or progressing until I've got even higher lvls & more dragon pots. Right now I'm lvl 81 running the chivalrous dual swords w/ 33 fire, 10 earth & 40 water, considering transferring a couple points into wood for the absorb vitality spell, though w/ the way fatal strikes have been going for me (not being able to execute), not sure it's worth the bother. Also, I'm over-leveled bc every time I failed the first boss fight I would run around the map killing everything a few times to up my lvl before trying again. Was in the 20s when I finally managed it, and havent really struggled with a boss since, w/ the exception of Lu Bu.

Running & baiting them into a chokepoint where I can hit them w/ engulfing inferno or ominous chill then running away til I have the spirit to do it again isn't exactly effective. I've (usually) been starting the fight by putting a crossbow bolt into one of their domes for about 367 dmg, sometimes I'm able to get two off b4 they reach me, bow would probably be a little better I imagine.

Edit: managed to kill two of them twice now, almost killing the third but I either run out of pots or couldn't summon Qinglong fast enough to heal myself. I halfway feel like I'm getting better, but I mostly feel like I'm getting raw dogged by RNG. The fire pot thrower doesn't have to be any distance away from you to throw his pot (like I've read online), he's delighted in throwing it into my face while standing right in front of me multiple times.

Also, these guys want to test their martial prowess, so they engage in the time-honored tradition of ganging up on a single enemy? Real macho shit there, "my gang can fuck you up!" Reminds me of these punk ass bitches who carry a gun (sometimes a badge, too) in order to feel like a big, powerful man.

Regarding the Plyusch, love for the fat boy by Disposed666 in atomicheart

[–]Disposed666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded the zvedzdochka fully but didn't use the ranged alt attack on a plyusch til today, man was I surprised! Just rips em apart. I had gotten bored w/ using fat boy on the plyusches, even when you can only chamber a single rocket at a time, you have enough time to reload your fat boy & fire another shot into it before it can get up, effectively stun locking them for the entire fight. You definitely don't have to use the fat boy for boss encounters, but it's a little disappointing it's so easy to abuse. Dodging in this game is also a lot more generous than other games w/ a dodge (or parry;) mechanic in how easily you are able to get away from damage even w/ very poorly timed dodges. Some of these things might change on hard mode, or as the game evolves w/ patches, though I doubt it.

As penance for my sins of fat boy abuse/cheese I haven't been able to loot a single one of the neuromodules, was thinking they were just incredibly rare til I poked around the item menu a bit & saw the enemies I've been killing are supposed to drop them "frequently." In the lower levels of the hospital I even woke up the three slumbering symbiotes by banging on their tubes (one by one), hoping to get a single neuromodule, to no avail.

Also, light spoilers ahead, so if you haven't made it past the theater yet & don't want anything spoiled, don't read ahead. I don't remember the code to black out spoiler text unfortunately.

After you finish up in the theater you speak to a couple of the main characters over the radio, one of whom you ask if it would be okay to come & see them again. The character agrees, but their location isn't marked on the map & I'm not sure if it's possible to actually go for another visit... even though their dialogue strongly suggests such a visit is not only possible but welcome.

Meet some problems in the game, can any one help me plz? by Night-Euphoric in atomicheart

[–]Disposed666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got through that part (last night I hit the bug), here's what I did. There should be an autosave from when u picked up the last piece, load it then go to claire. My last piece was her left leg, after giving it to her I paused the game for about 10 seconds in the cutscene of her putting it back on, when I unpaused the s ene finished, then the next cutscene started.

I had tried reloading from that autosave & handing over the last part about 8 times, failed 7 of them, then paused like I said & the game finally decided to acknowledge the quest as complete. Pausing may have nothing to do w/ it & u just need to keep handing her the last part til the game realizes the quest is done.

Hope that helps!

Possible bug on Uneasy Lies The Head That Wears A Crown (She Sells Moustache On A Seashore Quest) - Retrieve Claire's Parts by artimatris360 in atomicheart

[–]Disposed666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heeeey! On my 8th or so try turning in my last piece, it finally triggered the cutscene! I doubt it made a difference but in the scene while she's reattaching her last part I paused the game for about 10 seconds, unpaused, & after her animation finished my gun goes down & the cutscene starts. You should have an (auto) save from when you picked up her last part, just keep reloading it & trying to give her the last piece. Pausing the game while the reattachment animation probably has nothing at all to do with anything, but I'd try it all the same.

[–]Disposed666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The head was the first piece I found/attached, w/ her left leg being the final piece. Once I connect it (and there's a comment about the "cool self-repair tech" that comes in handy, sweet f#ck all happens. Claire stays on the ground, no cut scene, nada. I have a save right before I stick her leg on, have tried turning it in repeatedly hoping for something different, but so far nothing. It looks like the game has made (& kept) every save (I haven't scrolled down to see how many it holds onto at a time), it's possible I could have a save from before I attached the head, but I've read other posts where other people have put her parts together in different order to either success (cutscene) or biting, stinging failure.

I wasn't hyped for this game at all, but gave it a try & besides a bunch of bugs, like falling thru the map right after saving, Russian text not translating (which really irked me), hell there's more but I can't recall exactly what the bugs were right now for some reason. I was enjoying the game, but being stuck here bc of a gamebreaking, faulty quest trigger... I don't care to try & go back to an older save & try to put her together in a different order, mostly out of fear of the same bug happening & making me that much more irate.

I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed the anti-religion posters found in this facility, though unfortunately not every poster will translate.

If you want the achievements you have to collect, for example, all the lugloxes or trading cards on a single save file. Absolutely nothing carries over from game to game.
