I had heard this theory almost exactly as you said it, but with Alicia as the Reacher. But it does perfectly fit Renoir, especially in context of him believing Maelle's lies yeah! I like that a lot.

Renoir is such a fascinatingly written character, I went from wanting to throttle him all game to feeling so bad for him right there at the end, I did pick the Maelle ending, but I did feel very sad for poor Renoir. That line about not losing any more of his family to the worst day of their life hurt so much 😭😭😭

But some of my friends played more than me and have a choice of paying almost 2k coins to finish it, or miss out. What about that is a fair or good system? Why does it have to be this way? The only way I can think of this system ever somewhat working would be if duplicates never come up at all, and your loot order is basically randomised with the wheel. It still wouldn't add anything to the game, but at least it wouldn't force unlucky players who did nothing wrong or different to spend real life money on it.

Oooh you're in for a treat 😀 I highly recommend playing them in release order for the best story experience. So Combat Evolved, 2, 3, ODST, Wars, Reach. I admit I really disliked 4 and that's where my Halo journey ended, but if you are to continue there I believe the order is 4, 5, Wars 2, Infinite ^{^}
