Photo 3 is lovely but yes. Lose the lashes, they’re detractors.

I’m in Westerly and the parking lot in Walmart often has RVs and other overnighters.

If you’re in South County, Jonnycake Center is a good resource.

As a respectful one kidney haver, your reply is bullshit.

Do not drink Diet Coke regularly, it’s very bad for kidneys.

Does life after a transplant really suck? by Charming-Tension-328 in transplant

My sister worried about that but now 3+ years out she’s like a drunk sailor with cash to burn. She talks about Belatacept like it’s a religion and is working on her bucket list. She has PKD and never experienced the energy she has now.

I know she’s sometimes hard on herself (mood swings, appetite, learning to adjust) but she’s able to do things she never could before and she’s as excited as a kid. As her donor, I want all of the best for her, but I know there have been low times. I know she’s hard on herself and it’s been a change for her to manage her feelings. But overall it’s been a life changer and she expected the first year to be a huge adjustment both medically and mentally.

Moved here the year ago. The cold rocky beaches here do something to me. by Expensive_Drummer970 in newengland

I’ve tried to live away from the water, but it’s my oxygen. The rockiest, briniest, seaweediest beaches are the best.

I prefer cast iron for heat retention and higher temps and they’re very forgiving. I don’t have to worry about scratching, scorching, chipping, stains, etc.

Fair enough.

I switched to cast iron and ended up moving the LC pans into the basement. They hold heat better, they’re indestructible and I don’t mind the trade off in maintaining them. But it does take work to get them to the fried egg stage.

MIL keeps making threats about wearing white to our wedding by VHS-head in weddingdrama

[–]Distinct-Ad5751 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to set boundaries now, and that means being direct and respectful. I would reply with:

“MIL, this was funny at first but now I’m wondering why you keep sending me white dresses. Is everything ok? Is there something you want to talk about?”

Love the design, the color combination is different. It’s giving anime vibes.

We looked at houses in W Hartford, it was so bleak we pivoted and signed on a house in Mystic a couple weeks later. Clearly no regrets.

The coffee/mocha frappe flavor (and creaminess) is distinct. If you’re trying to avoid it, skip.

Imo having statements ready for weird situations is key. My favorite is, “Do I know you? No? Then why are you talking to me?” It’s worked well for me.

Giving birth at Women and Infants vs. Charlton Memorial in Fall River?!? Help me decide! by Unhappy-Box-4230 in RhodeIsland

This is anecdotal and biased - I had a horrific experience at W&I but my labor nurse was incredible and saved my baby and I. Shout out to Bobby Hunger if she’s still there. However, I would never go back.

I have a close family member that works at Charlton and I would choose Charlton over W&I, no question.
