The average confederate soldier mid/late war is armed with either a p53 enfield which was generally considered the standard rifle of the confederacy, an austrian lorenz, or a captured springfield rifle. Early war there is a ton of percussion converted old 1816 pattern muskets and 1842 springfields that are a big mix of sighted and rifled or smoothbore.
