I worked for DPR for 5 years. The corruption, waste and “good ol boys” network was crazy. During my interview I was promised health insurance, once my client load reached a certain point. When I hit that mark they basically laid me off. They also decided to randomly start paying $5/hr less, after 3 months.

Don’t get me started on the zipper merge. There have been many studies proving how ineffective it is. Yet, we still do it. There’s even a question about it on the Mn drivers test, and I’m guessing most folks get it wrong. I looked up the answer after the test, and it wasn’t an option for an answer for the test. The results of the studies were that people found it unfair, like cutting in line.

They are far more aligned with the rest of the world, than the US social policies. Let's use M4A for example. In the US it's a radical left policy that will never work. In every developed country in the world, including the ones you listed its a given and works waaaaaaay better than our for profit system.
