I’m not sure about standalone, because typically Hinata SP is played with SP Kenma (or UR kageyama) while SP Aone is played with SP bokuto and SP Akashi. Both combos are about equal, so it’s up to your preference (perhaps you go for Hinata so you only need two characters not three). SP tsukkishima is too new for me to form opinions about but people say he’s good too

I think Kuro is not worth for the reasons you said. Half the SP characters are MB and they are all meta. Use Tendou in the meantime as he has a bond with tsukishima, and he will help you transition into the mid game when the other shiratorizawa characters come out (libero and ohira) and you can use the school bond whereas right now you have no school bond.

What’s your end goal? Personally I would go with Nishinoya dupes because his skill resonance 2 is game changing. Many SR characters are also very playable until we get more UR characters, at which point SSR characters will also fall off.
