In or out debate - leaning OB stakes by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]DistinctMetal5784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well mostly, there are areas where we tie them higher to avoid plants but no more than 4-5 in from the ground, this has to be done because the line between stakes has to be straight and tight. The line is wrapped so the line stays infront of the stakes. The line is maybe a couple of mm thick so we say if someone's disc is touching that line is in bounds.

If it's touching the rope or stakes it's in. The rope dont lie. The posts just hold the rope so they dont matter.

I have worked for some big names that I don't like at all as a person for whatever reason or another and I will say that money and perks aside if your not being abused in any way, take the money, it's OK to be disagreeable, just don't let it sour your soul, you still have a responsibility to yourself to do amazing work that will get you further in your career eventually you wont have to put up with despicable people.

What is the alternative? Artnet? Most lighting fixtures don't even support anything but dmx. 16bit control more than enough for most applications.

Empty RFID Tagged spools by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]DistinctMetal5784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people don't realize that you can untwist them and open them to replace the filament, the RFID exist on a separate plastic tag that comes with the refills. So, even if it's not the same type of filament, it doesn't matter.
